Hi,
I recieved some pearl tuberose bulbs that I purchased and am wondering if they are any good? I haven't planted with bulbs before and so I'm in need of some advice. Here is a pic of the not so good looking ones. They are small, brown, and dry. Should I try planting them? Please, please, please any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry (I posted a similar plea for help in the bulbs section but haven't recieved any replys) don't know if thats against the "rules"?

They look more or less ok. Do they have soft spots? They are tubers, so they won't look like regular flower bulbs. Are there signs of rot? Also note that they may not bloom the first year. They like to get established.
Okay, thank you. Very good to know. I did see a couple of spots on a few of them. Could this separate to the others? Also, after planting when and should I fertilize?

Use some pellets when you plant. Throw that in first.
