Could we have an "Emergency Room" forum?

This would be for just that, emergencies that people need help with right away. There wouldn't be much general chat, so when you see a new post, you know someone needs help. Kind of like a DG "Bat Signal" ; )

I think you might have better luck posting a subject line that included "HELP!" or "EMERGENCY advice needed" on whatever forum was most appropriate for the plant or whatever in question.

I don't know how many folks would manage to monitor an "Emergency Forum."

I actually posted one of those tonight, but it is in a forum that hasn't had much traffic tonight. I don't know how many people would monitor it either, but there are so many helpful people here I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

I agree it would be better to post an emergency thread in the most appropriate forum. Even if there's not a ton of traffic in a given forum, chances are the people who know the most about that subject are probably watching that forum, and when they see your thread come up they'll jump in and answer. Otherwise in a general emergency forum, you might not get the more specialized experts who could actually help you solve your problem.

I dont know. I kind of like the idea. I know I would keep an eye out for new posts in a forum like that so that I would help if I could. Great idea.

Thanks : )

I think it would be a great forum IF people would actually post only emergencies. What would be an 'emergency' to one, might not be to another. If we had someone to monitor the forum, I'd vote for it!

Ah, spoken like a medical person. So true!
