POISON IVY REMEDY THAT WORKS!!
-------------------------------------------------------

Some time last summer I had a small outbreak of poison ivy rash. A friend I was chatting with online told me to get up out of my chair, go to the nearest pharmacy and buy ZANFEL and use it straight away. Read the instructions!! It is to be used as a wash. It works a b s o l u t e l y !!
The stuff is not cheap, about $ 35 for a tube but boy, it beats itching for a week.....

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

I don't eat squirrel, bushey tailed rat. Mike only cooks the finest grade of Angus beef. If you can get here Don, he will fix you a big old bar-b-que brisket and show you the difference in Kansas bbq and Texas bbq. uuummmmm good!

Hillsborough , NC(Zone 7a)

Just catching up with everything, including the heavy rain that some of you had which they just showed on our TV local channel - hope there wasn't too much damage in your gardens. You are going to have a surprise garden Christi when all those seed you have planted and that have washed away, germinate somewhere!
Spent a depressing day yesterday doing taxes - everyone else done theirs? I expect I am last as usual...
Aloha

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Sun is out today. Everything all helter skelter from high water and high winds. Supposed to be in upper 60's from low of 40 this morning. Easter spell is always dependable.

Taxes still haunting me. Maybe next week.

The palm I purchased is in the ground and now has two new leaves. Everything else is planted and I can't remember where or what. Always a surprise garden for me. I get to enjoy life twice. Once when it happens, another when I finally remember what it was that happened. hahahahah

Have a great day, Jen.
Dogs to the vet today. As they say on Wheel of Fortune...BIG MONEY!!!

It will go good with fried squirrel and Mikes Texas BBQ!!!!!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Hmmm ...I wonder how I can decorate with fluffy tails.

Rio Rico, AZ(Zone 8a)

Oh Randy! I have a picture back home in storage that would be perfect in your lounge! When we were in Moorea, out on the deck having a drink (with umbrellas of course!) I was enjoying the local version of a coco loco (Kalua, ameretto and coconut rum blended with cream - I think!), we had walked over to the railing to watch some whales just off the bay mouth, and when we came back to the table there was a gecko face down on the inside wall of my glass - tounge out - enjoyed the remnants of my drink. We grabbed the camera, and later blew up the pic to poster size, to hang in our own "lounge"... Its really a conversation piece!

Can I come to the bbq? I'll bring coconut crabs!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

LOL...oh yes...I have to add alot of Geckos in there..that sounds cool.
Yes come to the fry, we'll garnish the coconut crabs with pieces of grey fluff.

Rio Rico, AZ(Zone 8a)

Eeeeewwwww! What a disgusting thing to do to a yummy coconut crab!!!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Rio Rico, AZ(Zone 8a)

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Looks like we're the only ones on the playground today!!

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Been in and out, fighting my gas blower,18 yrs and I think it's had it !!!
Chipper shredder started fine,so did the lawn mower and weed eater, but the gas blower starts just won't keep running, cleaned and justed everything, even went the new plug, but still starts just won't run, heck lawn mower is 21 yrs old, wheels fell off last year but welded them back on,weed eater is about 10 yrs old,the other one was 20 went it croaked!
Guess I'd better spend some of the green in my pocket before it burns a hole in it.

Randy just tell them they are BBQ wings,no one will even know the difference!!!LOL

Rio Rico, AZ(Zone 8a)

Don! You are supposed to be recuperating!!! Get back on that couch!!!!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

time for dinner here!

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Here too!

You mean davey Crocket was eating the sqirrels? before I came into daves garden I had no idea that people ate squirrels ...and is that the fluffy tail thing on Davey crocket's hat? a remnant of a bbq? to think I thought it was awful to think of our desperate pioneers eating the (shut your eyes TM) cockies because they were starving ...it did not last long though the cockies were too tough even after boiling for hours! So does that mean you like the tasteof squirrels? I can't imagine being that hungry. We use booze to catch cockroaches ...they die happy! that picture sounds funny Shari ...TM ...SORE ...Be a good patient and behave yourself! ...awfully hard with Spring knocking on the door ...but you want to enjoy it don't you ...go gently mate!
How did the storm go? everyone ok?
Happy cyber partying folks!

Yes LouC the dreaded PI go figure and all I was doing was diggin bamboo and planting the veggie seeds....but Dh was mowing out back LOL
Dang I missed the tiki bar by being on my bus dang...is it too late to get a strawberry daiquiri?

and what about rattle snake added in on the meal (yuck) but it sounds like it fits in as Texas does have them LMAO

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I can't imagine eating a squirrel either...yuck...but each time they have a block party on my deck, it's fun to imagine the grilling and frying part!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

The Tiki Bar is open 24/7 for DG'rs

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Here me am. Here me am. Don't ever want to miss a party. Funny kind of day.
Cold this morning. Warm in the afternoon. Getting chilly again tonight. Took Chester, the Cavalier King Charles puppy to the vet today. He is such a wimp. Cried even when they were only cutting his toenails. He has been thoroughly wormed, shot, clipped, and washed today. At 4 months old, he has had quite a day.

Aloha,

Princess Kilikina

Beautiful dogs LouC nice breed I had one once ... but had to give it away because it kept trying to bite Honey (my Jersey cow) on the nose ...we don't know why, such a shame ... darling dog, I hope your darling recovers after all that ...and hope your seeds pop up in good places :)
I have had a cyber zombie at Rj's and I am off to sleep it off now hic! enjoy your party!
chrissy

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

hey at 4 mos old he can be a wimp but try a large dog - German Shepard that up until the day I took her for her rabies shot and they bathed and trimmed her nails she wouldn't even get close to a car unless you were pulling in to get out of it and she is 2 yrs old.

great day today even though I was on the bus alot of it but I did go to the ceramic shop my daughter found and came home with 3 fairies to clean and take back to get fired before I paint them ...best not do that now though after a few drinks might be cleaning and take one of the hands off ..may I have another and do you by chance have apple pie shots? not the one using store bouht stuff but the one that uses everclear? and you top it with whipped creamLOL
