Gail,
What a great find at Lowes! Whatever potting mix you used for the blooming one should work well for your new ones. Are they phals as well?
Another OT
The word spreads around here quick when the Lowe's Easter market truck load arrives. Today we captured a Phaelanopsis Orchid in a soft lavender. A very nice plant at $20.00. It had open bloom and quite a few buds to watch come on in due time. They had four differend colors in two sizes. People were all over them. We are glad we go there early today. They are getting picked over already.
I love observing merchandising tricks.........They had lots of gardinas on the shelves below the orchids. We heard more than a few folks say how nice the orchids smelled??? That was our giggle for the day.
Lowe's just got in a new shipment on Thursday but I was too tight to pay for them. They wanted 14.95 for the 4" pot and 25.00 for the 6" pot. I will show you the new plants I got, cicada for 5.00 each (only one did I pay 14.95 for and this was about a week ago)
I just grabbed canadian peat and layered that with the big orchid bark in between on the phals you sent to me....don't know what I am going to plant the dendroiums (sp?) in..........
I can't find the pictures of them but I know I posted them on the AV forum somewhere about a week ago.............
