Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

We have had about 7" and supposed to get more in the morning. Look at the rose bed, the work crew weeded!

Wow Melva!!! we only have sleet here so far, but who knows.
I am making soup too, it does sound good, doesn't it? I guess we will just stay home and be cozy, so glad to have a good place to feel cozy in.
Josephine.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Melva we got about 6 to 8 inches in Texoma land.
Looking out my garden window.
Two snows this year and both in one week. Both with spring like days before.

My daughter and I... we got quite a bit here, as you can see. This was the first significant snow since she was born. We went out three separate times, and each time it was quite the chore to get her back inside... :)

Nothin' like y'all's snowfall......by a long shot....but we actually had some flurries this morning about 8 am....but not cold enough to stick....probably tomorrow though, it will be cold enough....if it snows again (just N of Conroe)

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Great photos, everyone. Dennis, your daughter's snowman is very well done.

Rowlett (eastern suburb of Dallas) got almost 2" of rain on Tuesday and 2" of rain again yesterday, and then this nice covering of snow both days as well. Luckily temps didn't get to freezing, so the roads were no problem. Unfortunately that also meant that I had to come to work!!

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

The sun is shining today and the temperature is 55 here in Arlington, I think by noon it will be pleasant outside.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Carla, did you get snow? How come we didn't???????! All we got was a nice little dusting about 5 a.m. this morning, which only accumulated a tiny bit on the cars. :(

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Here it is still thick. My car is stuck at the bottom of a hill. Here is a shot of the four windows I put in this week. Will get up to 40 degrees today.

Wow Ted!! that looks gorgeous, it looks like you have been doing a lot of improvements. I envy you that sun room.
Josephine.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, Pattie, it snowed at my place sometime overnight last night, and I woke up today to the same amount of snow that we had Wed AM. And I can't get over how much rain we had on Tues and Thurs!

Carla

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow, you know that is so funny! Seems like you cross the lake and everything's different. My mom & dad live just across from me--less than 2 miles--and they often get rain when we don't.

We did get all that rain, though. And a 1/2 cord of firewood that I can't imagine when my dh thinks we'll burn. LOL!

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

we got snow too. my son jack was up early too so he could muck around before he went to school. just enough for a few good sized snow balls.

Dallas, TX

mamajack, And what did son jack do with them there snow balls? I bet i can guess! When i was about #%^&* old a few #%^& years ago,one of the best things i liked to do was make snow ice cream. Afraid to do it any more. Jerry

The sun shone here all afternoon and i was out on the slope pulling purple vetch for 2 hours, what fun!!! I only have a 10x35 foot space which is solid with it to go, I hope my legs will last long enough.
Josephine.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm doing the same thing, Josephine. :( That stuff is just everywhere this year.

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

jerry, i remember that ice cream. remember how much it used to snow when we were kids? and it snowed when it was supposed to and not in march.
