Um yes...i've been up since 5:45am and my son has to have his medicine at 10:30pm so I need to stay awake. Then i'll want to watch the news at 11 because I missed it at 6. I'll get up again around 6 and do it all over. Sound fun?? LOL Actually tomorrow night he will be with his sister so I can go to bed when ever I want.

I read the news on the net. Well, when it's time for you to sleep, I hope it's a restful one!

Usually I sleep very deep, but I am "tuned" into the sound of his seizures, and wake instantly if he has one. Luckily he seldom has them at night.

My brother, Everett is a Lt. Colonel in the Marine's and has all these medals, traveled all over the world, ect...and my parents were very proud of all his acomplishments. He called today and we were talking...and he said out of the blue "Of all 7 of us kids, Dad would be most proud of you for sticking to your commitments and following through with everything. I always ran from everything but the Marines... he would be very proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself." Coming from him...it blew me away.

I can't drink coffee after 6 or 7 or I never sleep.

OK....I need to tell you guys something and it takes all of my courage to say it but you will understand why I got flowers today and why my brothers remark meant so much to me.
I use to drink very heavily for about 6 years. Today makes 16 years since i've touched a drop of alcohol. Since sobering up, I went back to school, got my diploma, got my license at the age of 31, went to college, and have made a nice home for my children and tried to be true to myself. So now you know my deep dark secret, and why today is special. I hope it doesn't change how you look at me and hope I can still be your gardening buddy.

Celeste - I haven't been able to keep up with the threads lately cause I have been so busy with Colin and when he leaves I'm so exhausted that I fall asleep. I did check back to see what you were congratulated on and I too offer my support. You have made an awesome accomplishment and it took a lot of courage and determination. Yes, I think opening up about your little dark secret has made me change the way I think about you - I have much more respect and admiration for you to be able to change your life and turn things around. I always thought you were a wonderful person but now - WOW! Maybe you have given me a little incentive to lose some weight.
