Check your bank accounts

Giving you heads up in case it happens to you, check your bank statement there is a company that is trying to take out $149.99 out of bank accounts they are called medcare RX (800)280-2028 that is what shows up on your statement. They did it to me I am calling the bank this morning. Seems they randomly put bank numbers in till they hit an account. And then take your money. So keep an eye on your bank account

That's good to know. I have a blocker on mine so they can't do stuff like that unless I authorize it. I will keep an eye out, though, because you never know.

Have you heard of Reservations Rewards? They just removed $12 from my account. I never heard of them until I was looking at my statement. I read that they remove money from your account every month once they get started. I called my bank and they are investigating.

We just got hit by someone using our debit card. The bank stopped a $500 transaction, but there are $300. that got charged. We don't get the money back until the investigation is over. They bought stuff on qvc and ordered flower delivery to two different towns.

This is the second time it has happened to me. Strange thing is I never use that card online.

About 10 days ago we got a call from our credit card company wondering if we had made a bunch of online orders for computer software that day. We hadn't. They closed the account and issued us a different one.

I can't help but wonder if this is all stemming from the Bloomingbulb website being hacked.

The Reservations Rewards hit me one month. I went to their web site and asked to be removed and I haven't been billed since. About three months ago.

johnny seeds was hijacked a while back too, someone took all their credit info , I think we were issued new cards because of it, just to be onthe safe side.

I've never had any of this happen to me and I buy on line ALL the time. I have insurance on my credit card in case it does happen, but don't know what happens if it's takenout of my checking account. I'll have to check into that.

Several seed and plant catalogs have been hijacked in the last year or so. I try not to let them keep my credit info when ordering on line, I ask that they always distroy it and I'll give it to them again if I order again.

Paul, I use a local one horse town bank. Not a chain bank in town here. I was lucky they stopped the biggest charge before it hit.

Would you believe we got a card from 1800flowers in the mail saying thank you for the orders and offering a 15% discount on our "next" purchase.

I have already called them and told them it wasn't me. They were no help to me, but QVC gave the person's name and state. That could've been helpful if there weren't hundreds of people with that name in California.

The sheriff said not to worry they have ways of finding the crooks.

We are supposed to get our money back on Monday from the other stuff.

My bank worked very quickly in the investigation and credited my account for the $12 Reservations Rewards took. Hope they warned them not to charge it again.
