So MAD!

We bought a new computer recently and THOUGHT we were getting an HD monitor. Well, we get the computer and it turns out its not HD. Two guys we talked to at HP said that it was an HD. If we had known we would have bought the same screen at walmart for alot less. We sent it back and are paying the difference on a HD. But that would have left us without a monitor for a week had we not saved the old one. That is just not right, making good customers return the monitor before they replaced it. What if I hadnt saved my old monitor? They KNOW I am using my computer for a web based business and even one week of not being on it could really cost us. :-|
And me being so dumb, I forgot to put the base and cables in the return box so now have to wait longer for my new screen. LOL. Grr.
To top it off the stupid nieghbour is having a party and stoned drunks are going up and down my road constantly. Sigh.
Calling the cops does no good.

I wish I had seen this sooner! We had almost the same problem but with a printer. One thing after the other went bad on it until the warranty expired. Yes, GRRRRRR... Now we have to get it fixed on our own and it's a pain because we use it all the time and it's frustrating not to have it. We have to use the printers at work and isn't THAT a pain!!!

I agree that people shouldn't be treated that way. Sorry about the drunks, too. We have people across the street from us that have decided it's okay to work on cars until all hours of teh night. NOW they've started working on motorcycles. GRRRRRR, again! So, I know how you feel and I feel bad for you!!!

Must watch these computer firms..friends of mine purchased a new system but to get the deal you had to take the package..they wanted to upgrade the printer so had to purchase the package and then the new printer..so my printer had gone on the fritz so they gave me the new printer..cannot connect it and when we contacted Dell they said I must have their computer system to use it and would let me access the site to download necessary info for my computer to accept it..so here I sit with a brand new dell printer, unable to use it..madening of course..

Y'all are making me even happier that I have a local site that builds what I want at a fair price. Even when I had a major failure with a company supplied laptop, their tech spent well over two hours trying to salvage my data - everything he could think of - only charged for 1 hour.

Well, we got our new monitor today. It's nice but I'm still mad.
The box was in terrible shape (prolly not HP's fault,lol-but im blaming them haha).
Wish we had a place like that Bubba, lol.

We have a place like that, as well. I sure wish I'd used them. We bought ours over the phone.
