You'd think people selling a $300+ product could write a short instruction to go with it. I suspect it's made in China where pictures and numbers are the way to go. The written word is hard to come by.
I'm going with the SAB program every other day and then once a week till the stuff is gone. I just hope it really works. I don't mind spending the money for results but it hurts when I just throw it into the pond. :-)

Texas waterlilies etc arrived
A friend of mine has a way of saying it when someone tells her they want to put in a pond. She suggests they first dig a hole in the yard.. go out there every week or two and throw a $100 dollar bill into the hole. If after 6 months they still want a pond, they will have the money left in the hole to finish it!

And I recommend you dig a hole....and pond "window shop" every week, go back, dig a larger hole....pond "window shop" again, dig a bigger hole....and never complete your pond until after 3 months of this routine.
Everyone who builds a pond, always wants it bigger than they originally planned.
Or Merry Mary they want to do another pond but do it right this time around :-)
fred
Sigh...........me too.
Mary
That's why I have 3 smaller ponds instead of one large one,lol....
;)
Snapple,
I think it's working. I've used two pots of the SAB and most of one ecoblast. The strings around the lily stalks are finally thinning out and may be dying off. I ordered another pot of each as I'm going to beat this thing one way or another. Sadly they only make the 7 lb pots. I think I have to go into the pond now and start raking out the muck on the bottom. There are great gobs of algae sitting there. Can't wait to get this resolved once and for all. Then it's continuous vigilance.

Whew! You had me a little concerned there fred. Once you get to the maintenance phase it becomes fun again. Appreciate the update.
