Thanks Veronica, but I think I'll just try and get some seeds then that'll be fine, I may be happy with the ones I'm getting from T&M we shall see I just want some red, there's so much hipe with the jacob kline that I just thought I'd try them but it's no biggie really, as long as I can add some more red to my gardens I'll be happy :)

Suzy, I have a question about the Kong coleus, how wide does it get and can they take a little sun? I was looking on the T&M site and they have one that gets 12" tall is that about right for the seeds you sent me in the swap?

Thanks Suzy. I think I'll cull them out but hang onto them for a bit just in case. I have a few more seeds I can start so I'll see how they compair in the end. %^$# potting soil.

I have no idea about the Kong, LeBug I got the seeds in a trade and the person sent about a million more than I needed so I put them on my swap list.

I had Kong (I think) this last year and it was about 2.5' tall by about as wide-there is something in my soil in my front beds that makes EVERYTHING grow out of control. My coleus was as big as my boxwoods. Here is a pic

Thanks anyway Suzy, guess I'll find out :)

OMG Fairy, those are huge and they aren't even the Kong series? My regular coleus gets pretty big and I always thought the Kong would pass them up guess I'll find out this year, T&M says their leaves get 12" so it's got to get wide I would think.

Very pretty garden. Coleus will and can get bigger than that.

I couldn't help but notice the posts on Monarda/Jacob Kline...I was at Park Seeds Saturday and the only ones they had in red were a mix...I know you can order via phone or online...the red mix seed packet number is 3624 and is 2.75 for 50 seeds...hope the info helps for those who weren't specifically looking for JK but just a red... :o)

Thanks rednyr, that was me and I did order :)
