Any help is appreciated.
I would like to ask a question about the history of the term "lunate", why it is not used much anymore and if anyone knows examples of plants that have that leaf shape. Looking through all the forum categories, I'm not sure where this might fit.
Thanks
Taxonomy assistance?
It means crescent shaped http://davesgarden.com/guides/terms/go/2530.html and the origin is from the Latin word luna which means moon. Probably the reason you don't see it used much is because there really aren't many plants with leaves (or other parts) that are that shape.
Thanks ecrane3.
This is an instructor's idea of a good question to ask (sigh)
