Is it a Lark?
Just to report a bird on feeder this morning. No picture, Carolina Wren. Didn't realize they were up here.
Have you checked into House or Winter Wren iris?

Is it a Lark?
Yep! Short-toed Lark
Just to report a bird on feeder this morning. No picture, Carolina Wren. Didn't realize they were up here
Sibley maps Carolina Wren breeding up to approx Boston and scattered records up to Maine and even one or two records in Nova Scotia; I've also read they're slowly expanding north with milder winters. So a good record, but perhaps not too surprising.

Hooray...I win!! What is my prize? LOL!
Gosh Angele...I am not very good at I D-ing! That is sure a cute little bird though...reminds me of an immature Warbler but better let the experts decide!
lol, dellrose, me too!
I was thinking Audubon's Warbler which would not be a new bird for me but I was hoping it might be something else. Always want to add a new bird to my list. :-)
Not sure what to make of that one! Not Audubon's, as it has a grey rump, no yellow visible (if there, I think it would be showing given the wing position)

So these 2 are a pair of purple finch? The white eyebrow is female, how do you tell from the males house finch and purple finch? Don't they both have red? I need to be taught, what to look for. Thanks Pelle
Angele, that looks a lot like a female yellow rumped warbler - myrtle form. Check out the cornell link:

Sorry I was just talking of the first pic burn.
No problem Pelle , thanks for the ID of the first one. The birds are coming pretty regular today, probably because of more snow, I even had the Downy Woodpecker come, quite a few time. He has been on vacation for the pass few weeks. :)
From earlier: Thanks rntx22, I thought so too :-)
Here's one from today
Palm Warbler
Cormorant?
Yep; Double-crested
Resin
When I spotted the bird I thought it was just my normal yellow-rumped Warbler and almost deleted the pic...when I put it on my computer I realized it had a lot more yellow. Thanks Resin.

Resin
Yep, Red-bellied above, Downy below.
Resin
Yes! Congrats!
pelle; thanks so much. I had the feeder for the longest, never seen them there. Then you advised that I move the feeder to low ground area. And there it was! This is my first time seeing bluebird out there since we moved the bird house. Wooohooooo! Gotta run and get some wormmeals.
☺☼♪♫☺
Congrats Lily!!! I'm setting mine up today!!
Yep, Bald Eagle
Resin
Thanks Rose, I'm so pleased to have found the delight. Thanks to Pelle and Resin and others that share the joy of birding. :-)
Lily, congrats on the bluebird!!
Congratulations dellrose!!!
Thanks Nanny, I've discovered so many more birds. I've been trying to catch a picture of a titmouse, but the 'lil one is too fast for me. And many more that I don't yet know the names of.
Thanks Pelle, I've been telling everyone that the baldies fly over all the time...now maybe they will believe me!!
And thank you Resin for the ID!!
Edited to thank Resin!!
