So have you what, JD? Been shedding like a buffalo?
How is YOUR So. Cal weather?
I read rosewynd's post wrong...I thought she said "My fruit trees have had enough chill to set anything"...so I agreed...meaning I'VE have had enough chill to set fruit !
Oh, darn it. We've all done that. Shedding like a buffalo, though, would have made you unique.
Zuzu is still giddy from her birthday celebrations. :-)
LOL, my DH said he never would have thought 45 degrees would be warm! My daffodils are starting up; my trees don't know what to do, and my poor rose bushes have tried to put out leaves twice.
This morning we saw geese migrating North! Is winter over already?
I was still hoping for snow.
I hope we're coming into spring. It's still cold and cloudy out and more rain on the way here. *****sigh*****
More rain......
My DH has just now "smoothed out" the driveway...... so the nice hard packed dirt in front of the house is now very loose. I'm going to have MUD.
He's supposed to be helping me by using the backhoe to move the two new trees into their holes...... I guess it's good that he's having fun.
Boys and their toys! My DH would love to have a backhoe. Luckily, we have a neighbor that does most of our dirt moving for us.
I can empathize about the mud - our lot was completely bare when we moved in and we lived with mud and dust for so long.
Isn't mud great?!!?!?!?
Hey, I think I actually see the sun shining a bit, it's just a teaser though!
We had some sun this morning, now it's cloudy again. Don't know about OC, but our forecast is showing rain tomorrow and Sunday, but clear on Saturday. :-)
Bad mud!!
I sure hope there's no rain for Arlene's garden party...it might have to be renamed...garage party!
Yeah, but "party" is the operative word and rain won't dent that!
You can bet on it!
Can't wait, guess I better get out and pot up some plants I've promised. This weather unmotivates me...***another sigh****
When life gives you lemons . . . made lemonaid (and add some vodka to it)
I never looked at it that way, can I borrow some vodka?!!?!!?
Well, he had fun and I guess we'll live through more mud.
It's a lot of work, starting with bare land. Takes time.
Yes, the waiting is the hard part. We didn't have a million dollars to throw at it, either, so we have to do it a little at a time. One of these days I'd like to start on the INside of the house!
It was beautiful here today...high 70's, maybe even 80...I didn't ck.
Maybe, just maybe, it's all coming to an end...
Ha Ha Ha....dream on, rain coming next weekend. This is good news, really. Rain once a week is cool. No water bills for me.
More rain????????? No, not after this 80 degree weather. Grrrrrrr!
My forecast is showing clear. Where did you find this, Sherry? Rain once a week is fine with me, too!
I think it was Matt Baylow on whatever channel he's on....surprised me because previously I'd heard nothing of rain...could be wrong, who knows?
I looked at several web sites and couldn't find any mention of rain. Maybe he has an "special" source for his forecasts! lol
That's a good thing Kathleen! I demand there be no rain soon, you hear me, demand!
I used my "weegy board" today and it's all taken care of: NO rain this weekend.
Louise, your demands have been met !
I just heard "no significant rain in the forecast" and now heard of the possibility of Santa Anas....this is not my favorite scenario....
LOL Mike, it works, I tell you. Santa Ana's are not my favorite but I'll take it over the rain anytime.
No way. Bad, bad Santa Ana's!!
