If you want to have your spreadsheet on my website as a reference, please feel free to dmail me and I will email you my personal email address.

Wow, you guys' spreadsheets are GREAT! So to create my own all I have to do is figure out how to bend my Microsoft Excel program to my will (not easy.)

Is Access an easier spreadsheet program? Does it work for Macs?

Access is a database program. You would do better with Excel. At least to start off with.

Mine is in Excel format, Anita converted it for her website. In Excel the jugs are recorded in order of date sown (i.e. jug #1 ia first, #2 is second...)

That shows my results for last year. I jot down information on paper as I sow. When I get around to it I enter into the Excel document, Googling to fill in any blanks as I do so. I do find it helpful to keep such records. It's relatively easy for me to do and I can refer to it from year to year. Otherwise I would never remember such details as when I sowed a particular type of seed. Over time my record keeping lags and those are the ones that show germination results as "yes" rather than a specific date.

I'm guilty of that too Karen. Thanks for sharing with us.

Lala, that's wonderful! I especially like the photos of the seeds... pretty please, when you have a spare moment, would you upload them to PlantFiles? It can be really helpful to have seed pictures, whether you're collecting seeds or trying to figure out what's in a lost-label or partially labeled packet. Thanks!

Critter that's the exact reason for doing it. Those pics as well as the seedling pics are destined for plantfiles on one of those nights when I can find a spare 2 minutes. (Hopefully some time before gardening season starts NEXT year. LOL. I have encouraged everyone to do the same....NOID seedling were my biggest gardening frustration last year.
