Info when you put the mouse on someone's name CHANGED?

Northeast, LA(Zone 8a)

I used to run my mouse over someone's name and it would tell me they were if they were a subsciber or member and the date joined. Now it just says registered. I loved the old way. If somone was new I would be more likely to give longer more detailed answers. I also would welcome them to Dave's. I would recommend certain forums for their area and explain about plant files. Now their is no date so I can't be as helpful. Sorry had to vent. I MISS THIS FEATURE DAVE. not shouting just expressing Cindy

UPDATE It only does this in mail can mail be changed so I know if they are new?

I just ran my mouse across your name and it gave me your signup date and subscriber status. Maybe it's the browser you're using?

I agree in dmail, it doesn't seem to be working as it does in the forums. I don't know if it ever did, since I never thought to try it before today.

Yes it works in the forums but I didn't know it didn't work in the mail. When someone dmailed me last week I ran my mouse over her name and it just said joined. I took that to mean she was not a subscriber. Long spill about joining Daves to her. She says she is a subscriber. Today when I run the mouse over her name it says registered. This is all in Mail. I guess it never did work in mail but is there a way to get the same info in Mail? It helps me answer their questions better.

I don't know if the difference is an oversight by Dave, or if there's a conscious decision for the difference. But a quick right-click of your mouse before you send a dmail will bring up their member page, and display all the details - signup date and subscriber status.

I can't use Foxfire because the page jumps when I type. Using IE if you go to another page you lose everything you have typed. I have to open another tap pull up Daves there for info and toggle between tabs. On IE anytime you go forward or back from a page you will lose everything you have typed. I used to use Foxfire with no problems. But now when I use it The page will jump every time I type a letter. Very annoying.

right-click doesn't work? I use Mozilla/Firefox most of the time; IE as a backup. It sounds like you've got something henky in your browser settings if it's jumping around (mine doesn't do that.) You might try the computer talk forum for some help with that.

Thanks Terry I asked my computer man but no luck Maybe someone in the forum will know.

Odd, how it doesn't do it always but yes, the screen jumps when typing and it really can be a distraction. IE here and when I toggle back and forth, sometimes I lose what I type, sometimes I don't... Sorry but I am glad to see that it isn't just me ~ old and slow pod....
