Useless Information Part II

Mississauga, ON(Zone 6a)

Amazi;ng what you pick up in a thread about useless information. My toes are diagonal too. I have beautiufl feet. :)

West Central, WI(Zone 4a)

I'm another member of the diagonal toes club, and for the record.....I've got really ugly feet. I think it is from working too many years in retail wearing shoes that were more fashionable than functional. That was when I was young and foolish......now that I'm old and creaky I've wised up.

Everyone in my family and my husband's family have diagonal toes. I lived a great many years before I realized that not everyone's toes were hooked on the same.

Old wive's tale that I heard about a longer second toe; A woman with a longer second toe will hen-peck her husband. Whaddya think?

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

I have long toes, I married early (not smart) NEVER ever hen-peck my husband, married 32 years last Thursday. My husband has diagonal toes, our kids have long toes, it must be dominant, haha.

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

I humbly raise my hand.....I do sorta.....

Edit: But he needs it at times...

Marie,

Don't feel bad. I have the ugly feet thing going on, too,
but mine are genetic. I've read that three percent of the
population has funky feet due to genetics, and most of
the rest are due to bad shoes.

Huh.

West Central, WI(Zone 4a)

I think that you're right about the ugly foot genes. Both of my parents have ugly feet, as does one of my brothers. My daughter has gross feet, but she thinks that it is from 18 years of karate. My son's cute feet look like his dad's.

Happy_1....peck away! Sometimes they do need it.

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

my husband is starting to admit that sometimes he needs to ne told things!

West Central, WI(Zone 4a)

That must be a first. I've never heard of any man admitting the he sometimes needs to be told things.

Beautiful, BC(Zone 8b)

I admit it. I admit it all the time. When I was much younger my mother would say, "Do I have to tell you!" to which I'd reply, "Yes". I actually prefer to be told what to do so that if there is question/dispute later I can quote the original conversation verbatim.

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

My DH says the two best words a man can say are "Yes, dear". LOL

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

except for when they say it in "that tone of voice" like they are the greatest suffering husband in the whole world.

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

Well, we wives know that tone of voice, don't we!?? Poor babies!! LOL

Missouri City, TX

Huh??

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

Bubba, we know that innocent look and HUH? too.

Beautiful, BC(Zone 8b)

It's all in the eyes...and the sad and hurt stance. Works best when well shaven and wearing better clothing. "You're in a mood. Well I better get going."

Missouri City, TX

"Were you saying something, dear? Sorry I was distracted".

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

Hey Bubba, get your feet off the table, put on a clean shirt and put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher, you dear sweet man. :-D

Missouri City, TX

I empty the diswasher. Never seem to pack it right (but you knew that). LOL

When we got married - first morning I awoke to the smell of coffee - she was blowing across the top of the cup into my sleepy face - WONDERFUL!

Now I brew and bring up her coffee. 38+ wonderful years.

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

Congratulations on the 38+ plus wonderful years, Bubba and Mrs. Bubba. Blowing the aroma of freshly brewed coffee into your face---what a woman!!!

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

Bravo on 38+ years, what a happy thought for a Monday morning.

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

and this, although useless information, will certainly be good for a laugh to start your week:

Marsue, I had tears running down my face, thank you for sharing!

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

You are most welcome--DH and I were practically rolling on the floor with laughter!

Dillonvale, OH(Zone 6a)

Janis

West Central, WI(Zone 4a)

OMG ROFLMAO ! ! ! !

My sides hurt from laughing so much....I've got tears streaming down my face, and I can hardly catch my breath. I think that I need a nap. lol lol lol

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

Any excuse for a nap, huh, Marie? LOL
Glad you enjoyed it too, Celia and Janis. BTW, terryr is the one who sent it to me originally.☺☺☺

West Central, WI(Zone 4a)

I never did get that nap.....but I gave it my best shot. LOL

That link has been sent to a great many people through my email. I have never gotten so many responses so quickly. I now have a few friends who got mighty red-faced in the office as they were trying to retain their composure while watching it. That makes it even better!
