Nope, all ours has melted away. In the forties yesterday & today. But I guess we have the possibility for some more next week. I wish we could get a couple of weeks with no snow or rain and dry out a little!

Thanks Pelle,
The Bewick's have that worm feeder all to themselves... When Mocks and Robins swoop down to get theirs I have stashed all around, this little guys have their own. I sure hope they nest here.. There are at least two... one has a few white spots on the wings, the other doesn't.

gardenpom great set of photos! love the BJay with his empty shell :-)
Congratulations on the expectant mama & papa debnes. hehe that Bewick with breakfast is so cute!
(never heard of or saw a Bewick before!)

Here are 4 Inca Doves in a palm from day before yesterday. The palms are right across from my home in a small park. The bloomed and had a very heavy crop of drupe and lots of birds have been very happy all winter. The drupe attracts insects too so even the insect catchers are happy. I see the Northern Flicker visit a couple times a day.

Here is one of my 'pets' that visits my feeders. A Curved- bill Thrasher that lives in the desert shrubs near my home. He hops/flys over to see what goodies I am putting out.

Angele, You are within the range of the Bewick's Wren distribution... They really go for the meal worms. Some sources say they are endangered having already been flushed out of the Northeast by House Wrens... I have had them here for a couple years that I know of..

Marlton, NJ

Beautiful pic of the Curve-billed Thrasher and Inca Doves angele!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I love the Incas too, such sweet little birds!!

Great pics, Angele, and all the others also!

A few from late yesterday. Most didn't show till late in the day because of strong winds. It calmed near sundown.

A sparrow helping itself. We now have large flocks of these living near the house. They usually feed on the ground on seeds scratched out by feeder birds.
