Gary your pics always impresses me, so beautiful. Pelle love that Chickadee pics.
There is so much details in them.
very nice to see all the different birds.
Nice pics nanny; no more snow around?
All great pics, but bsharf, as herons are one of my favs, I love the nesting pic - just beautiful!
Good day everyone. i'm back to being addicted to DG; I can tell I'm here before my morning coffee :~)
I love your Hermit Thrush Deb. It is on my hope to see list for sure. Reminds me of some of the birds I do see around here.
bsharf, love all those waterbirds especially that yellowleg. That is a beautiful shot of the Dove too.
nanny, great captures! Love those cardinals! I didn't know till yesterday that crows are declining so it really makes me happy to see yours. Nice shot of the woodpecker too :-)
Eleanor, your yard is just gorgeous green or white. I don't know your woodpecker but I love the photo
Hi Eleanor, The beak reminds me of a Hairy but its really hard to say,the size almost looks like a Downy.
Very nice pics debnes! I love the wren w/ his worm!
Thanks Pelle,
The Bewick's have that worm feeder all to themselves... When Mocks and Robins swoop down to get theirs I have stashed all around, this little guys have their own. I sure hope they nest here.. There are at least two... one has a few white spots on the wings, the other doesn't.
gardenpom great set of photos! love the BJay with his empty shell :-)
Congratulations on the expectant mama & papa debnes. hehe that Bewick with breakfast is so cute!
(never heard of or saw a Bewick before!)
Here are 4 Inca Doves in a palm from day before yesterday. The palms are right across from my home in a small park. The bloomed and had a very heavy crop of drupe and lots of birds have been very happy all winter. The drupe attracts insects too so even the insect catchers are happy. I see the Northern Flicker visit a couple times a day.
Angele, You are within the range of the Bewick's Wren distribution... They really go for the meal worms. Some sources say they are endangered having already been flushed out of the Northeast by House Wrens... I have had them here for a couple years that I know of..
Beautiful pic of the Curve-billed Thrasher and Inca Doves angele!
I love the Incas too, such sweet little birds!!
Finally got a shot of the shy titmouse, very nice Trois!
trois,Those are wonderful photos!!
Fantastic photos Trois! Love the Titmouse.. so cute! What a great variety of birds at your feeders!
Just a heads up: Pelle asked me to start the new Daily thread which I'm going to do in just a moment. :-)
