Work Party at Rachel's

Heidi could this be it?
http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/87035/

Tills, I have the seeds that heidi grew that plant from. They're in the greenhouse, but I'll check tomorrow. I was wondering if those were the seeds she used for that plant, because I brought one of those home as well. I'll post genus/species info tomorrow, kay?
Excellent hellebore choices! I cannot wait to see Kingston cardinal bloom!

Burwash Weald, United Kingdom(Zone 9b)

Love the idea that all plants need moving 3x - heidi, since I was going to skulk out to the front borders today to move the poor things yet again - now I will do it with head up and purposeful pose!

Finally found the thread where I was supposed to post this! The plant is Teucrium hyrcanicum! Whew!

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

This is nice. The one that I have is teucrium chaemadrys, I think.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Thank you Pix's
Know what you mean, about which post is which, having trouble to.

We're all so gosh darn friendly with each other! We take over each other's threads all the time and no one cares. Couldn't get away with that on some parts of DG. That's why I stick to this forum. LOL!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

We are the happy bunch

Burwash Weald, United Kingdom(Zone 9b)

Not to mention cross threaded!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Funny

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

You're right, Pix. Some forums do not allow cross-topic in a thread. And I've even seen people complaining about have off-topic threads that they have to sift through. Must talk only gardening [said in a robotic voice]. This is the place to be if you digress.

"digression alley"

oh lookee - something shiny over there...

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

That's me to a tee. I had a distant relative that we went to visit in Pennsylvania when I was a kid. My mom had referred to her as "crazy Bess". I asked why (I was 12) and my mom said that she didn't know, maybe because Bess jumped from topic to topic to topic when she talked. I could never figure that out because we all did that, too . . .

Some people call that ADD, some people call the 'creative thinking' (my personal preference), and some people call that low-estrogen!!

Burwash Weald, United Kingdom(Zone 9b)

Magnesium supplement will stop the word salad, has an amazing effect (do not add if you are on any medications, or have kidney/liver problems before talking to your docto. Always check for contraindications).

Jumping from topic to topic, IF IT IS DIALOGIC is creative (as it is here) - if it is steamrollering (like my M-I-L) then I interprete.

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

Yeah - I'm sure I have some ADD and definitely the low estrogen. Then throw in a low thryoid and I'm toast. Well, I'm not toast. Just those of you trying to understand me are toast. LOL

I've been looking into potassium and magnesium supplements along with biotin. Might have to actually do something about that, Laurie. Thanks!!

Burwash Weald, United Kingdom(Zone 9b)

you're welcome

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

This is creative thinking, How do I get to make the bed, MMMMM, maybe later.

Oh those sweet kitties! Makes me start sneezing just to look at them. I truly, truly wish I could cuddle my kitties. I hate allergies.

I take a magnesium supplement with all the other ones I take. So that must mean that I would be way worse if I didn't take it! Sad thought.

Rachel, we'll be there for your work party! MY dh is coming to help, too. He wants to meet scrappy.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Wonderful! Scrappy will adore all of the attention :0)

Kingston, WA

Scrappy is going to be one tired puppy after the work party with all the attention. Hope you all take lots of photos

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Hey Rach, Looks like I might not make it, just found out that one of the managers is going to be out for 2 weeks for surgery on her wrist, So I will be out for the swap. Wanted to take my Vac. then but thats out, So we'll see how things go with her. Keep you posted.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

I will take lots of photos Heidi!

Mary, bummer that you might not make it. I sure understand how it goes though. Will we still see you at Dragonfly?

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I hope nothing happends, that would not be nice>>>>>>
Still trying for you.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

I appreciate your effort Mary, even if you are unable to make it you will have to take the position as head cheerleader! Keep those pom poms at the ready!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I will, but I kinda sucked for Pixs by the time I got home, they already went home, but I know Laurie will stand in for me.
Is yours going to be one day or two?

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Just one, Saturday. People are welcome to stay if they don't want to drive home that night though. I think if I made it two days people would think that I had gone "nuts!"

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

That's still maybe a go. if I work it right, let you know.

Buckeye, AZ(Zone 9a)

Okay Rachel the GE is over time to think about your project...what kind of tools do you need us to bring...
Shovels, Rakes, Wheel Barrows, etc? Let us all know so we can be packed and ready for the Saturday outing.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

If anyone has cardboard that I can use please bring it with you. I have about 1/4 of an acre to cover when all is said and done. Please bring your rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows as we will be moving dirt. I have three wheelbarrows, two rakes, one leaf rake and three shovels.

Carla please bring your camera, you took such lovely photo's at Pixy's! I will be making a big pot of chili, a big pot of potato soup and biscuits. Pixy is bringing cornbread (thanks Pix!) I will also make cookies, any suggestions folks? I will have soda, water and juice to drink.

This is who I think is coming, please let me know if I'm wrong or if your not on the list, I want to make sure that I make enough food!

Susy, Katie, Katye, Carla, Pixy (and DH,) Tilly and Outta (and DH.) I will dmail you all directions later in the week. Looking forward to it! Rachel

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

Boy - I'd come just for the food. Pix made awesome soups and your soups sound delicious, Rach (could it be that I'm hungry?).

I'll bring my favorite shovel and mattock - don't leave home with 'em. I'll add a rake if I can fit it in.

Looking forward to it!!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Rach, bringing a car (wagon) load of cardboard, and won't be able to get the barrow in, can some one bring a extra for me? Wish I had a truck. Trying to talk my DH into it, so far no luck but still trying. He still has stitches in his wrist. after a accident with a dish while washing dishes. Which I forgot I have to do.
Anything else?

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Oh forgot I have a couple of square shovels I'll bring to. good for moving dirt.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Tills,
I'm sure that we will have enough barrows. Square shovels are a great idea, I have one of those also.

Buckeye, AZ(Zone 9a)

Rachel,

I will bring my camera, I won't leave home without it! My Dh will be coming but he will be heading somewhere else for most of the time...Cabelas I think, but I want to go there too so we will hit that on the way home too...I want another bib!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I have mine too, charging batteries, and making sure all chips are ready.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

The more cameras the better!

Port Angeles, WA(Zone 8b)

I will be there with pink tools, unpink tools, wheelbarrow and a sherpa to schlep it all! Really looking forward to it!

Port Angeles, WA(Zone 8b)

We crossed. . .okay, I can bring my camera, too.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

The more the merrier,
