Do you want us to go back and read through some of the older threads? Some of them have a lot of good gardening information in them.

Actually, you can change your vote. If you vote on a thread where you previously voted, it will change your vote to reflect your new vote.

Seriously, these rankings are half-serious and half-experimental. It's been on my TODO list for months now. With all the threads out there, it's really hard to sort through them all (especially for the newbies) and find the good info. With rankings, we'll hopefully make that job easier for folks.

We'll let it run for a few weeks and see if it actually works.

BTW - if you go back through older threads to the good ones that you remember and give them a very positive vote, it'll help out in directing newbies in that direction.

We need quite a few votes before the system will work reliably, but I think I've thought it through nicely. With enough people voting it should work very accurately.
