Port Orchard, WA(Zone 8a)

Rach, that works for me, I don't see any problem, would the tour start south, at my place, and go north? or the opposite? Jim

Let me make this the last message in this thread.

My current plan is to transfer all the info from Kayte's calendar to a calendar that I made up for us. It will look and act the same, but because it will be mine, I can view and edit it remotely (how cool is that?).

If I don't transfer it to my account, Kayte would have to give me her password to do that (how cool is that? pfft!)

When that change occurs, I will tell all in the forum. And Dmail all additions to me. If you bring me mucho additions, I will either give you my email address, or teach you how to get them to me in ical format to make my life easy. Well, when you get the new calendar address, you will get my email addy, so the point is moot.

So with that, this is the last post to this thread. I hope.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

It worked for me Katye

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Worked for me!

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

No problem here, either!

So , when you guys say that the link worked, do you mean that you saw a calender with events on certain dates, or that is just brought up a calender with nothing on it? I get a calender, but no events are listed on it. Am I still normal?

Buckeye, AZ(Zone 9a)

Me too, only a calendar nothing on it!

Moscow, ID(Zone 5a)

Pix/Carla - is there a mini-calendar to the left of the large calendar?
If so, and you click on it, what happens?
Trying to work out the bugs. AnalogDog is transferring the info into his google Calendar, but I don't know how far he got. Probably quite busy like the rest of us!

Also - are you java enabled? it was a suggestion made by another DG viewer.

Buckeye, AZ(Zone 9a)

Yes I am java enabled and no there is not a small calendar to the left.
Thanks

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

The small calendar is a drop-down for me-is that the one you mean?

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I have the same drop down?

What drop down? I don't know if I am java enabled. I do drink a lot of coffee. Does that count? I'll ask dh tomorrow if he will enable my java. One of the benefits of marriage! LOL!!

I think I better go to bed now. Obviously, it's way too late.

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

I have rebuilt the calendar under my Google login. I have added some information and currently there is little information for the calendar in May and June. The location of the calendar is here: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=b4vbuhgpnvrk99umkvoc88hs1g%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/Los_Angeles

There should be a new Post for the Calendar starting shortly, and I will have it made sticky. Please post new short events there, or discuss the calendar. Big updaters to the calendar, will receive the rights to do it themselves :-) All I want is to share the load. The biggest complainer in any club is either the newsletter editor, or the calendar editor. I don't intend to deal with it that way.

Kingston, WA

Hi Analogdog I think this looks great. I think there is a Tacoma flower and garden show at the end of feb. Also If we think something that is kinda cool that might be of interest Do we tell you and you put it on? Heidi

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Wheres Dragonfly What date, or month, did we want to go?

Dont' forget to put on the work parties, or do we do that ourselves? MIne is Feb 16, Rachel's is in march. She'll have to confirm the date.

Tills, got the tshirt iron on! Awesome! Thanks and be sure to dmail me how much to mail you. We do want to reimburse you for those.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I'm not worried about it, Its a pay back in the long run, no payment due. "enjoy" I had fun making them. LOL

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Tills,
Recieved my iron on as well. I love it! Thank you so much! Hugs, Rach

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

You are all welcome, Should I send one to Heidi? I thank Yes and one will be on its way to Our Highness, who has step down, 'so sad'. Though she was good at it.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

I think they would both love them!

Langley, WA(Zone 7b)

Need to make the Dragonfly and L&L on either the 27th or a different date. I am not avail on the 26th and I MUST be able to attend!

Gwen

Kingston, WA

Gwen You must come with everyone we had a good time last year.. heidi

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

I thought L&L was going to be later than April?

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Who's planning on going to Dragonfly and Hostajims on April 26th? Please let me know if that is a good date for you.

I will call L & L this week and find out if they have a date in May that we can come for a tour. Stay tuned! Thanks, Rachel

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I was planning it, but this early in the game, I can change, havent put it in yet.

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

I'm good for the 26th of April - don't generally plan that far ahead, so I do know it's still open . . .

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

The 26th is fine with me.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

But my thought was can we change it so Gwen can go.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

Well, either way, I'm free on the 26th, lol! Some of it depends on Jim and Heidi, too. Particularly Jim, as it's his private garden. I'm flexible and can wait and see what gets decided. :)

Port Orchard, WA(Zone 8a)

I'm flexable, and retired, so anyday is okay with me. also we need to get a reservation for L&L. Jim

Langley, WA(Zone 7b)

Wait, I have been working with L&L to get a date. So don't someone else start calling and confuse the issue.

Heidi, I was there when the group came in the fall. Which is why I don't want to miss it. I already know I cannot come on 4/26. But I can on the 27th.

Gwen

Moscow, ID(Zone 5a)

Pick a weekend date & post.
I don't care when - 'cause I don't know what I'll be doing an hour from now!!!

Kingston, WA

Hi Gwen the 27th is great. I am open and wil be here working as usual. Any of you can come anytime I'm open you don't need to come as a group even though a group is more fun. Maybe you all can come on the 27th but is that easter? Thanks Heidi

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

Gwen - did we know you were doing that? Let's make sure we communicate clearly about who's doing what and use just this thread for the planning, so nobody ends up having a messed up schedule. Thanks.

So does anybody know where we are with the schedule - who's in charge of updating the calendar, etc? Do we want to assign that tasks. AnalogDog, does the fact that you own the calendar mean that you are the only one who can update it?

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Gwen that will work for me to, Its far enough away that I can put it in at work, I want to make sure thats going to be the date before I do, or lets pick another? I'm game, anything from April or after.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

THE 27th IT IS! I'm chiseling it in stone! :0) So Heidi and Jim please put us on your calendars. Jim could we start at your house? If so what time? Then we can go to Heidi's. We can all take our lunches and have a picnic at Dragonfly!

Gwen what day are you working on us visiting L & L?

Easter is on March 23rd this year, at least that is what my wall calendar says.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

I don't remember whether I saw this on this thread or a different one, but didn't Heidi recommend that we wait until May or later to see L&L because of all their tropicals?

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Yes Sue, Heidi did recommend that we wait until May or later.

Port Orchard, WA(Zone 8a)

Heidi, Easter is March 23. I think? lets see. the first Sunday after the 1st full moon after the spring equinox. March 23. April 27th sounds good. unless L&L isn't ready for visitors. I'm getting a headache already or is it nervesness. I hope I can have everything looking good by then. Jim
