reply to all option in d-mail

It would be really great if, when you send a dmail to one of your groups, they could have the option to reply to all. There are times when I send a dmail to a group and then each reply and I have to copy and paste each person's reply into one dmail to go back out to the group. Anyone else like to see this option available?

It's a good idea, but I'm not sure Dave is up to tackling it again.

Here's where we discussed it last fall: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/757982/

1) his initial reaction: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=3838532 and
2) the compromise solution: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=3886094

I've read the above links and hope that one day Dave will revisit this issue. I understand that Dmails are different from Emails, but will continue to watch this thread for future updates. I think what sjweld
is asking for is so that each of us can send replies to one another without her having to copy and paste them and resend them in a blast Dmail. Blast multiple group Dmails would be wonderful! 

Thanks, Dave, for all you do.

If you're blasting a message (reply or otherwise) to the same group, you can re-use the same group of friends as your "recipient". Am I still missing the question?

I think either we are missing something or you are, not sure which. LOL Ok, we have a small group of us that are communicating through a group dmail. I have them all in my dmail as a group and dmail blast them. Other's also have the same group set up. When I scroll down to reply am I missing an option to reply to the full group? All I see is that I am replying to the sender of the group. Is there already an option to reply to the full group? If there is, then that is what I am somehow not seeing.

This is what I see at the top of a d-mail blast sent to me:

This D-Mail was a Group Blast to one of [users name] group. Your replies to this D-Mail will only be seen by [users name].

Thanks for your time!

Okay, I think we're back to square one ;o)

You can only "blast out" a dmail to a group. There is no there is no way to reply-to-all from a "blast" dmail you receive. (Sorry!)

Is this an option that may be added in the future or is it out of the question?

See my second post above: the compromise solution is what we have in place today. (I don't think Dave is ready or willing to revisit the dmail architecture at this time ;o)

Blast dmails are really intended to be a one-way communication (e.g., announcing an upcoming roundup or other get-together; a co-op organizer letting all the participants know about a payment deadline, shipping update, etc.) They aren't well-suited for back-and-forth communications. Those are better suited to using one of the forums (for a group) or one-on-one dmails (if offline correspondence is preferable.)
