Daily Pics Volume #56 (corrected)

I have several shots to upload from today. Nothing super-special, but I'll upload them anyway. First up is a pic of two Woodpeckers sharing the suet.

Right before I came inside a flock of Cowbirds came by.

after the finch visit went on for 4 hours the bluejays decided the party was too big. One of them squaled like a hawk and two of them plopped down in the middle of the finches. Little finches scattered in a hurry. The two Jays smiled at each other and then went back to eating acorns like they had done all morning.

Great birds today. I'm wishing I could see that Indigo Bunting in person......

Me too boojum...we should be getting them in our area in the Spring. I've never seen one so am sure looking forward to it!

I don't know how I'm gonna 'splain to this guy that this isn't his house!

I get a bit frustrated this time of year at just having the same birds day after day, and little variety. But then I remember there are many folks that don't get to see those I see daily, the Steller's and Scrub Jays, Spotted Towhee, Mountain Chickadee, Red-breasted Nuthatch.......

Finally a decent image of a female Spotted Towhee. I see lots more males than females.

gardenpom, you got some great shots there! The Grackle one is good, the one on the left wants what the other has got. The Cowbirds is good too, the one behind is actually sitting on something behind pelle, lol, I thought the same for a start.

Say, I forgot to post this picture. I posted it previously in the ID thread (accidentally). This is my second Common Redpoll sighting. I am curious as to why I am only seeing one at a time and so far between visits.

Here's my pet society finches. Looks like they are shouting at each other but they are singing.

Bet someone can come up with a caption for that one. Like: "Lousy food in this cafeteria." Or something like that! The Bluejays keep alluding me but the tree sparrows don't care.
