Does anybody 'maintain' their watched threads by unwatching them? I do sometimes, but not enough maybe.

WOW, I would never have thought that a person could have that many! Now I am afraid to look at mine! LOL

Where do you find out how many you're watching?

It is under "my info" at the top. then you click on the "threads I am watching" and it will tell you how many.

Another good question would be: how often to you check into Dave's? I have about 4 watched threads to reply to every couple hours I come back on, lol. I can't imagine if amazingly enough I went on a vacation and came back! HA!

If you go on vacation you best have internet access is all I have to say! LOL

I'm at 1402. I do unwatch certain ones if they are getting old and going a different way. Always amusing to see really old ones pop up and then figure where you posted in it.

When I first log on in the morning, I have about 20 threads to go to. Every couple of hours it is 5-6. Returning from vacation would probably be a nightmare!!

Wow, I had nearly 300, many of them very old. I did some major housecleaning! A lot of threads stop being of interest so will try to keep them down below 25.

Seeing the topic of this thread I had to look and I'm not really sure if it was a good thing or bad thing! LOL Mine is 8,811 so maybe that is why I can't seem to accomplish much around the house.

Probably not... you have to look when I became a subscriber. There are many more around here that have been on DG much longer than I have. But they're all probably too busy looking at their watched threads to make it to this one! LOL I'm betting that I'm certainly not even in the running. There was something similar to this years ago and I remember Dave looking to see who had the most. It was quite comical.. and I was far from the winner!!!

Dave had a thread awhile back and listed the top thread watchers. I think GW was top at that time - and probably still is. lol Mine is at 4,510 right now, bet her's is over 5,000. :)

Sally, since you and I met last June at the Plant Swap, I am familiar with your name, and am always surprised when I am reading something and your name shows up. You sure get around girl. haha

I have just recently become involved with a thread that Gita is active in. Did you know that she was an artist? She has been showing some of her work in there and she is very talented.

I am watching less than 300 treads at the moment. This is very interesting topic Sally, thanks for posting.

i only have 43 on mine

1083 and a few are unwatched, but I think about going in and adding watch to them again. As Bigcityal said it's fun to figure out where you posted on an old one.

I want to say that the threads you are watching weren't automatically added to your' watch list' unless you started the thread ,until a year ago?

Then that is a LOT of threads in a years time! LOL

True, only the threads you started were automatically watched, therefore, you had to click on the 'watch thread' link on each thread to have it on your watched list.
