I would venture to say they some will probably darken up like a siamese and the rest will stay a white or light cream colored. The 4 newer ones have white markings on their faces. They are so sweet. Going to be so much fun getting rid of them.

Hey my post went poof ???
Gotta go for a few talk to ya latter. :)
At least we know what we are going to hawk. We still don't know about TM.
I'm going to get off here and try to get some seed packages done. I also want to watch some TV for a change. Take care all. Night.
Oh yes, Don should have plenty to sell on the corner! And I would be the first to buy if he is just selling plants! HA HA HA
Night night, sleep well!
Anyone thinking they want to move from a warmer climate, look at this!

HOW COOL! I am afraid an outdoor shower would be totally frozen and busted here about now!
That is fabulous!!just beautiful.
WOW is right! That is just awesome!
No, it is just beautiful!
Thank you
JP, that looks a lot like my Allamanda Cathartica... but whatever it is, you did a fantastic job...I bet it is a wonderful shower experience!
Now I know, thanks --it's rather common in Vieques, used as a hedge lots, but everyone just calls it mandevilla or "the yellow flower"
It may very well be Mandevilla, the yellow one is sometimes called "Wild Allamanda". I think the leaves are generally larger on the Mandevilla than on the other. Just be careful, if it really is Mandevilla, the leaves, stems, etc can cause a painful skin irritation. And just the idea of what body parts may come in contact with it in a SHOWER, is a bit scary! If it is Allamanda - it wouldn't be an irritant unless ingested.
Beautiful in either case!
Gorgeous JP!!
Is Spring here yet?!
I wish!!!!!
Oh me, too!
ME 3
Well there she is! You behaving yourself Missy? LOL
Got family from out of town for a visit. So I can't play to long.
I remembered you said your in laws were there, but still have to razz you a little! LOL
I did get to Lowe's...we had to go that way to visit another family member. Snagged some
type of Bromelaid it says Upright. I will take a pic later. They have something called a switch
bush got one for you. ;^)
Now, you got one FOR me, or one to USE on me???!!! HA HA HA
JP, your outdoor shower with the flowers is absolutely perfect! If you don't mind, I am going to use your concept as a starting point for one of our own, something sorely needed when you live at the beach! We have been talking about this for so long but seeing yours has given me the urge to get on with mine! Luckily my SIL is coming next week and he just loves to help me to do this kind of thing. Your tile on the patio is very attractive also....hmmm....
Aloha,
Jenny
Hey Jenny! Be sure to post a picture once you get yours done, too! :)
Don, that is a beauty you have there, too!
A great beauty!!
Hi all, here is a cute little ditty that Shaun came across on one of his forums. Gave me a big chuckle! LOL
All my fake flowers died because I forgot to pretend to water them!
Hope everyone and their plants stay nice and cozy in this nasty weather!
You too, Misti!
Thanks! :)
Jenny...a shower outside is a MUST!!! One side of my shower is a HUGE ceiling to floor window so it is like showering outside!!! I saw another where the garden hose was hooked up to the top of the shower...easy to take down and use in the garden. In your heat a cool water would feel good....
Carol
Yes, got to work on this project. No matter how well you try to use the showers at the beaches there are alway nooks and crannies that hold sand! Also, hadn't thought of cooling off when gardening - I can usually only do about two hours in the early mornings during the summertime, maybe I would be able to go another hour or so with a cool shower.
Today we are expecting the backhoe in to dig our new septic system. Because of Maui time this project has been 2 YEARS in the works! They are going to have an awful time getting the backhoe in as we do not have entry from the front and have to go up quite a sheer rock face from the back using a neighbors property for access...Fed the dogs early in CASE they turn up! It will be so nice to have that half of the garden back again. Hopefully they are going to take out three orchid trees, a hedge of mock orange, pepper tree and a couple of pesky palms at the same time. We also have a row of cypress along the front which are dying for some reason, hopefully they will be gone too....
Aloha
Hi, finally a day at home. Jenny, all of the plants sound like something we would fight for here.
Glad you are finally getting some results on your long planned redo. It is really dreary weather here. Seems we are having more and longer winter weather here this year than we have had in some time. Lot of nights in the 20's and days of only 40. Odd, the folks that have been at Dallas Market Center this week from much colder areas have really been complaining about our cold. Possibly because we have so much humidity and wind along with the low temps. Some of them are accustomed to the teens and are undone with our 40's. Work again on Friday and then unless they call me back, that is it until June. I really enjoy the interaction with the people but boy am I tired. Only 3 more weeks. whooohooo!
LouC
I think you all would go into shock if you were here in our weather! LOL
Kim, some of the complainers were from Mo. I was really surprised. I just thought it was business as usual. I am always, always warm and have worn short sleeve sweater and a cardigan all week.
