column size?

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Has anyone else noticed their column on the right side widening today? This morning was normal, but since then it has widened considerably and I have not made any changes. I have logged out and closed down, signed back in and no difference. Is it just me? Never had this happen before and not really concerned, just curious.

Mine is the same way. I don't know why though.

How odd - mine isn't doing that at all. (I use Mozilla's Firefox.)

I use mozilla too

I got curious and opened daves in my IE and I think the mystery is solved. As you can see, there is still a big column, but the boxes are normal sized until you reach the TAGS box. So I guess the tag box is what is widening it.

Dave, can this be fixed? I'm having to scroll from side to side as I can't see the whole page on the screen.

Maybe you could just reposition your tags. I had them right in column 1 under my new posts and they stretched across the page. Nothing was disturbed.

Try putting the tags in the last place in Column 1 ;o)

I don't have my tags at the bottom, and am not having this problem

The problem is fixed today--my page is back to normal width.

Mine's back to normal again too.

I guess that's just one of those things that makes you go 'hmmmmm.....'

mine changed back last night about 11ish. Terry, I decided to just remove it from my homepage if it became annoying enough, but it never did. The reason I would not put it at the bottom of column 1 is because I keep all the forums on my homepage and that would just be tooooooo far to go to see it. LOL

It's big again?

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

lol, yep, mine too. I spoke too soon.

I suspect it gets larger as the day progresses as the "cloud" is for recently tagged items in the last 12 hours. Overnite there is very little tagging going on as folks are asleep so in the mornings the cloud is smaller. I have mine in Column1 last position.

If it helps, I have Tag set in Column 1, Position 5. Page has never changed for me at all.

I have it in the last position in column 2, so I think langbr is on to something. I think it is because of the clouds building during the day.

Yes, column 2 would expand I think, thats' what I found when I first set it but once I switched to column 1, I had no further problems.
