Plant Files problem

I was puzzled when I received a request for seeds for a certain kind of plant. I had listed this in the past, but had deleted it because I no longer had it. It turns out that if someone goes to Plant Files to look at info on the species, they can click on the link to whoever has or wants the plant. Well, if you click on that link on the page for that plant, there you see my deleted listing. How can these deleted listings be removed?

Linda, How did you go about deleting your trade list? Or do you mean that you only removed certain plants from your tradelist? I'm only asking because when I go to your member page, I still see your list of plants for trade.

I mean that I deleted that certain one (it was Anacua seeds) from my list a while back. But it's still listed somewhere, because if anyone is on that page of plant files and clicks on the link to find someone who has it, I'm still listed as having it.

But it doesn't show up in your trade list on your member page.

I don't know. This is a question for Dave or Terry.

Most likely it's a matter of the system catching up with the changes. I don't know the frequency with which we update all PlantFiles entries (but it isn't instantaneous due to its sheer size.)

That's the long way of saying: this is really a question for Dave ;o)

I have a similar problem in BugFiles;

After entering my bug pictures, I have edited the text on one of them but then when I checked in the BugPictures forum, the text on the right side, when you enlarge the pict. has not been edited.
