Sorting Plant Files and Forum replies

Hi, when I do a search for plants, or plant information, I often get pages and pages of info. Particularly in the forum replies, I wish there was a way to sort the replies by date. The search comes back with the information all mixed up, 5 year old info before new info.

Is there a way to sort it that I'm missing? Or does anyone else think that would be a good idea to be able to sort?

Someone else asked about this a few weeks ago and Dave said that the search forums function works like a Google search where it sorts results by relevance, so you can't sort it by date.

For Plant Files, if you use the specific search you can sort the results somewhat but you have to choose your options before you do the search. There aren't a ton of options, but you can sort by Latin name, cultivar name, or popularity. And you can choose to show only entries with images, or entries without images, and you can choose to show only entries with a cultivar name, or only entries without one.
