Merry Christmas everyone!

We're big on Swedish pancakes and Buckwheat pancakes....I like my pancakes thin and crisp around the edges and I made Pear Butter a couple of weeks ago and like that on the Swedish cakes, or jam. Sounds good...I just picked up some turkey sausages today so maybe we'll do a good breakfast tomorrow. I think we'd have that for dinner tonight, but my neighbor and I cook for each other and she's bringing soup and apple crisp over tonight. That means I can go sit on my tush and read...I've done enough work for today.

It was amazingly quiet here last night, afterall. No gunshots, just fireworks, and I was asleep by 11:00....

I had banana pancakes at a little hole-in-the-wall place here today...pretty good !!!

We stayed in; at temps of 5 degrees with a brisk wind there was no inclination to go anywhere. Lit a nice fire all cozy and watched a movie ( or maybe slept through a movie). Worked on my New Years Resolutions . . maybe I'll keep them this year. 2008 is gonna be GREAT!
