Parking Lot Forum

In the weekly list of forums and number of postings, I have not seen the Parking Lot forum being included. Is there a reason that I am not aware of. Thanks, Patricia

Those listings are emailed weekly in the "Dave's Garden Weekly Newsletter."
I think you need to sign up somewhere to receive.

There are two things I can think of...I think some of the forums that don't get a ton of posts don't make the list (I don't recall seeing a lot of the home improvement type forums on there typically). I don't hang out in the parking lot so I don't know if it gets a lot of traffic or not. The other possibility is that Dave leaves out the forums that are completely hidden to non-subscribers (most forums they can come in and read the first post of each thread, but parking lot and a few others they can't even see that they exist until they pay up). I noticed the prayer request forum doesn't show up on the list either and that's another one I'm pretty sure is completely hidden from non-subscribers.

I do see subscriber only forums in the list; I was assuming it went just by the highest number of posts.

I don't use the Parking lot forum, but I did check it out and found plenty of recent postings. It is one of the few invisible forums so it is not in the daily newsletter listing. If you are interested in the number of postings and like me don't want to bother with e-mail. The daily newsletter is directly accessible under the extras tab. Can't access the new weekly one tho.

ecrane3 is exactly right. Since most recipients of the newsletter are not subscribers to the site, I only show the forums that they can at least access the first post of.
