Photos and Chat #4

You know it is a shame that mailing is such a pain. The packing is the pain .....not the mailing. I did have to throw away so many plants but I am not going to attempt to grow that many anymore. After we have our show and sale in February and then on Mother's Day weekend, I am going to be very careful in building a collection that I love at the time and keep it simple.

Plus I love all my outdoor plants, too!

(Zone 1)

LOL Gail, I hear you! I have so much cleaning inside and out that I need to do ... I want to downsize with so many plants and de-clutter my house! It is so easy to get carried away and so hard to keep it simple!

Lin, to keep from being sad about it, I made it into a party with a friend! We filled a big trash can because I didn't have room to grow them out.

Yes, there is a red back to the little leaves. Nesses Crinkle Blue is a miniature, right? This is small. Thanks for the name.

I won't be selling. I don't wnat to keep that many. I have so many other plants too. So, I will keep my no name violet in the post a few above. I love him even if he has no name.

i believe Ness' Crinkle Blue is a semi...........let me look in First Class and see.
Ness' Crinkle Blue (8136) 01/19/1995 (D. Ness) Double dark blue star/thin white edge. Dark green, quilted, serrated/red back. Semiminiature
I assure you you have the name as yours looks exactly like mine but maybe neither one of us has it but I grew mine from leaf from Cedar Creek Violets and it had the name. Mine didn't have any white on the edge of the bloom. (Remember I am just a parrot.......repeating everything I hear from the Corpus group)

I need to stick all your chirita leaves today.............you are going to have a lot of pretty plants and I love the ones you posted. I am going to check them out on First Class and post them.

For those of you I sent chirita leaves to................be sure and remember begoniadude's Kazu so you can mark yours if you got it....I didn't know the name

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

Are the leaves easy to identify Gail?

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

The ones I am sure of I marked, Diane..........there was one (the prettiest of all) with real sharp defined edges and no white or silver in the leaf..............I still have no idea......but when they bloom it is easy to tell them apart............. Also, I couldn't get silver surfer, Star dust and Kazu marked correctly................we will just have to wait on these and whoever gets the first blooms must share with us so we can compare.

OO I hope it's me with the first blooms! LOL I do remember a pic you posted of one with long pointed leaves- .....somewhere.....
