I would like to start a contest for everyone, not limited to Daves, to make a quilt, lap size that promotes saving our plant. Im an advocate for this, and I believe there are enough of us here that can do it. All can be raffled for the cause, the winning one better bring some dougb!

I have never made a quilt, and just cut my first square. My grandma talked to me and gave me some advice.

Anyone for it? I WANT A CLEAN PLANET FOR MY kids and grandchildren. Those I love the most.

Beginners like me are welcome. Just make a plan.

I think this is indeed a fabulous idea. Sadly, I don't quilt or have the
time right now to participate, but I'll sure be on the sidelines cheering

Well, since starting this thread, I broke my left wrist and they had to put pins in it. I won't be quilting any time soon. But if others want to do it, I'm behind them.
