Here we are on the last day of Autumn and talking about snow and snowfalls and snow depths! I, for one, cannot believe that it is NOT Winter already. Yes, it is snowing again for us today, although very lightly. The kiddos had a two-hour school delay today for what amounted to just about an extra inch on top of the more than 3 feet we already have.

But, wonder of wonders, it's actually warm today! All morning long the thermometer has been reading 27 degrees, and I am loving it.

We are under a storm advisory which will probably manifest itself later this afternoon.

Well, tomorrow is the first day of winter officially. With all the snow and cold weather, it feels like it's February right now.

Out the window from my computer I can see this bench under the hydrangea tree. It looks like my Sedum 'Autumn Joy' have turned into mushrooms! I don't think they have much joy this autumn, either!

Sue - yes, we flew up to visit the kids/grandkids for a few days and will drive back to Fla. the day after Christmas.......quick trip, but we're packing a ton of things in - including our dental cleaning appointments today! Quite a change of scene!!!!

Rain changed to snow here this morning, but it doesn't appear to be hitting the ground with the 30 mph winds.
