Marilyn - I still can't get over how much KY is looking like MN in the winter! I never thought of that much snow and ice so far south.

I was struck by that too sybil; we've had nothing but rain here.

Shannon...yes it is addicting! I don't know how I spent the day before I started...wait a minute..I used to cook, do laundry and clean (sometimes)!!

I was wandering through the yard this AM and noticed the white balls of snow in our birch tree. We had snow last night so it was no surprise.

But then I noticed what the "snow" really was!

The suet is a store bought nutty mix. I forget what brand.

I will be dogsitting starting friday in a home in the woods. They already feed the birds so I will be able to get some birding in, but they don't have a computer that I can use so I won't be able to post or read much.

Downy was back again this morning during the storm. Now it's just rain.

We only ended up with about 6" of snow but got the freezing rain last night too.

This cardinal kept chasing other birds off, but these two refused to take no for an answer!

That ice is just awful for everybody.

Ice is not really fun to be in, but it makes interesting pictures.

We had sleet and ice last night and this morning. Then it changed to a lot of snow. Here is a cardinal in the middle of the snow storm.
