I saw those purple poinsettias at walmart and I want one!

Love all the trees and the descriptions. Gives me more ideas then I need! LOL

Here is my decorated corner. I made about half the ornaments and this isn't all I have. But all I put up. Hard getting intothe spirit this year. Thanks for helping!

I think you have a snowman fetish just like I do! Love them all.

I haven't met too many Snowmen I don't like!

Lawrenceville, GA(Zone 7b)

Ves, I wanna come see all your snowmen! Your house is beautiful. For some reason I have been smitten with snowmen this year, fabric, wood, painted on, etc. Wish we would get some of the real snow down here! I love all the things you make. I try to stay busy making things so it keeps my mind occupied. This time of the year is tough.
Hugs to you,

Growing up, my cat used to engage in a little game we called Bowling for Christmas. Bucksnort (Ya, my rotten brother named my cat that to tease me!) would reach up and bat a glass ball down from the tree. Carefully line it up... then BAM it against the brick fireplace hearth. He thought it was great fun, we thought it was dangerous and an expensive waste of decorations!

I would love to share some of my snow with all of you. It has been snowing hard since about 3:00 am. there is probably 7 or 8 inches of snow on the ground now. the fellow who has worked for me when I have the money and he has the time, came down about 11:00 am to start shoveling snow from my paths , deck, and parking area. If it gets and deeper, is difficult tomove as so heavy and wet. I had to cancel my bridge game, I was to be hostess, for this afternoon.

Here is another Christmas area.

There are tiny twinkling purple lights in the container with silver mica and threads, but I just couldn't get a picture showing the lights

What fun seeing the trees and decorations~~lots of imagination at work and, just plain work, but rewarding, putting together such a wonderful Christmas. Very nice.
Raggetyann~~your name brought to mind a pic that I'd like to share; off subject, though. ok?

Iowaron, that tree is quite clever! I may try that sometime...plus, if you are in retail or do any display work that is a great window idea. Love seeing all the decorations!

Oh what a fun thread. I guess that I am going to have to pull out the camera before too long and post a picture of our tree this year. I bought a larger tree this year than in the past few years and it is really lovely I think. So many of you are talented in a decorating sense an so much fun to see.

Will return with a picture soon.

Kiska, I looooove the picture of the Raggedies going for a ride in the snow. Sounds like something I would do! Precious kids and they have the 'right' toy to play with! Thanks so much, that really made my day!
