Just curious..

..not complaing at all.

Why is it that some forums have a different graphic at the top of the page than most others?

I haven't looked at all of the forums but the Equine forum has a beautiful photo of a horse driven sleigh while most of the others have the pumpkin photo.

LOL, can you tell I'm bored today?

Thank You! :-)

The "regulars" within a few forums have selected an image to be used as their header background - including the Equine forum, the Texas and California regional forums, and the Iris, Hosta, Brugmansia, Daylilies, & Dahlias forums. (There may be a few others, but those are the ones that come to mind readily ;o)

Pretty funny, had to look up to the header. Sure enough, there are pumpkins there.

The only thing I notice that still jumps out at me is the purple in d-mail.

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Roses & coleus have their own.

Sue, you're right -I figured I had forgotten a few ;o) Thanks!

i wish we could have a new contest for a winter header.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Coneflowers could use one.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5a)

Terry, we over in the Southwest forum are contemplating a regional banner too. If we find something we all like, how do we go about requesting it? And are there suggested sizes/resolutions etc. for what would work well?

Thanks!

It's Dave's call as to whether he's up to working on creating new headers at the moment or not ;o)

I thought we had already done banners for the seasons. The tulips for spring, the bird on the Crocosmia for summer, the pumpkins for fall, and I can't remember the winter one, but if we have one for the other seasons, I'm thinking there must be one for winter?

Paulwhwest is the one who created all the beautiful banners, not me. Not being artistic like him, I'd be hard pressed to make them myself.
