More from 2007 JMG project
The "ribbon" ones are dramatic!
This one is interesting. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=4258262
No names with any of these, Dee? I am very curious to know what they are each called. How many different cultivars total did you grow this year?
Dee, gorgeous blooms, love 17 and 35.
Beth, very pretty blooms coming out of the Festival mix
Beth - Somehow I missed your Festival Mix, so went back up to look! Love the purpler one especially! I'm a newbie, so I was wondering why it is called "Festival Mix"?
Oh! Dee sent some seed packages out to members on this list from Japan and they were all marked "Festival Mix". I don't think it refers to a particular cultivar. It was a Morning Glory Festival celebration in Japan, right Dee?
Oh my! I forgot some labeled the same from Dee, too! LOL! (Where is my head these days?!!) So you have already grown them out and gotten your first blooms? WOW! And all in your grow room! I am so impressed Beth!
I even have seed pods already!
NO WAY!!!! OMG, Beth! I can't believe it! YOU are soooo on the ball!!!
LOL, it'll be a while before the seeds are ready to pick!
Thanks Beth, Beckygardener, Patootie.
Yes the Festival Mix are seed samples that are given away at the morning glory festivals here in Japan..
this picture alone shows 144 different morning glory packs and yet I still have a collection of mutant seeds that I need to grow out and indentify. I'll post more pictures near the weekend. TTYL.

Dee,
That looks awesome. You are so organized!
Now, I have to go work on my seed drawer!
Karen
Dee,
You are in for a treat growing the mutant seeds and finding out how cool they look at each stage of development! When we got our unknown and festival seeds this past year Paul and I were like kids in a candy store. Next year we will see if we can maintain some of the varieties and that will be even more fun.
Karen
Hello Dee sensei,
