Natural beauty all around

(Zone 7a)

Hello again!

I just wanted to share what goes on around us even in winter. There is beauty in everything. I don't much care for snow but it sure can be pretty. Take a shot of your garden in winter and share.

Happy (insert your favorite holiday here)!

And one more. I love how the branches gracefully bend under the snow.

Looking forward to them.

The snow looks lovely, of course since I'm not really feeling the effects of it. Here's the nicest picture from my garden in winter folder. Blooming Mahonia on Jan 7. It has a nice scent and I'll get bees on it anytime the temp goes above 50 degrees F in Jan-Feb.

We had a freak late snow around here last spring so I took some rare pictures of snow on spring flowers and emerging leaves. I 'm taking creative license sending this because it is snow. Only rarely do we see snow before January.

Those are cool, Sally. Is the second one a JM?

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

yes, the second is one of my homegrown found-seedlng JMs. Sorry about the out of focus first pic. %^ (

Not a fabulous picture, but when I saw these I thought "It's so cold the sedum had to put on their hats."
We've had our first snowfall in a part of the Mid Atlantic. Maybe some others will share.
