I'm not sure where to post this question so I'll start here. I would like to order some fresh wreaths for some friends and would like to know if anyone has a place they would recommend. I want a balsam. fir. or cedar or a combination of them. Thanks.
Wreaths
Sorry, I can'trecommend any in particular. There are lots for sale locally here. Maybe you could find some mail orders and check their record in Watchdog.
Home depot has a lot of fresh wreaths this time of year in their Outside garden. Many come decorated with pine cones and Juniper branches with thee "berries" on them.
I am sure Lowes has the same. Do you have either one close by?
I also have a large Veggie stand nearby. It is more than just a stand! Family owned, they grow their own produce and plants, etc.
This time of year there isn't much fresh produce to sell, so they sell hand-made wreaths and other Christmas greenery.
Do you have a similar place nearby?
Hope this helps you some!

PS. If you are handy at all, you van make your own. Craft stores sell the wreath frames for a couple of $$ and you cut any greenery you like (you can prune your evergreens at this time) and, using a spool of floral wire, attach them securely to the frame. Add some X-Mas picks or pine comes--a big bow and you are done!
Another thought. Last year I wanted to do rosemary 'mini Xmas trees.' After looking online, I decided to buy one locally for ten-15 bucks, spend a few dollars on crafts store items and decorate it myself, and box and send myself. I spent about twenty five for a decorated tree versus forty plus for a plain tree straight from the online place. I feel I got a better gift for less money that way. It's not hard to package for mailing. You will have to pay for an oversize box with a wreath, I bet.
Thank you for your input. I ended up ordering from Lynch in Washington. The wreaths are to be delivered on the7th. They were 26" and looked very nice. I will know when they arrive at my children's house how well I did. I will let you know if these folks are reliable. Elaine
Here is some on QVC that deliver fresh wreaths, I hope this helps.
