ATTENTION FELLOW ZONE STRETCHERS!!!!

It got down to the high 20's here. My digital thermometer says 29, but I think the outdoor unit is too close to the house, so records a higher temp. Weather.com says it got down to 27 with a wind chill of 22. At least it didn't break the record set in the 70's of 18!
My chinese lantern, which I didn't cover, looks pretty good. I'm not mulching yet since it's not going to get cold and stay cold for a while yet.

Everything that tried to come back to life last week (Canna's, Banana, and EE) all got nuked again. Jack Frost isn't playing nice.

The worst looking plants are my sweet potato vine and Tibouchina grandiflora - the kind that's not hardy here. Not problem, I have cuttings in my greenhouse.

Tonight doesn't look as bad, but it's still going to be quite cold. I really hope this winter isn't a really cold one. It was supposed to be warmer.
