When I was editing this butterfly picture [the one on the right of this collage], I noticed many colours in its tiny hairs. I know not if people are copying such fashion from nature!! Just for comparison, I got this one from a yahoo-search. The title of that picture was '100 colours' and the lady seems to have made up using many colours!!!

Hair dye - natural and artificial!!
Yeah --I don't think I like that hair. It doesn't look natural, but the butterfly is beautiful.
Right!
Dinu, I like the hair. I've always been one to move away from the colors nature gave me in my hair. But...when I look closely at my own color, it's not just one color, it's a variety. Very astute of you to notice the resemblance to a butterfly!

If anybody has pictures taken of various colours of hairdoing they would do well to be included here! It's in fashion now! I noticed different coloured shadings in another butterfly too.
Pic no !, I also think its pretty cool. My own stylist does here hair blond on brown, with a purple-red layer in there, kind of like Jess. Now my own hair is two different natural plus another artificial color at the moment....trying to look natural.
Thanks Janis. That's beautifully almost like that butterfly!
Just as I posted the above at 7.57, the radio beside me tells the Sunday morning news, about one person in India [today] will be styling 400 women in 24 hours to enter the Guinnes Book of Records. So I came back to this thread.
Those two photos at the top are such a wonderful comparison project, Dinu.
I once had a fall made when I had short hair and needed long hair for a role in a movie. The stylist had to combine strands of hair in dozens of shades to match the hair nature had given me. To my horror, some of the shades were unmistakably green.
Do you know that Lawsonia alba plant leaf juice is also used a hair dye? The same that is decorated on hands and feet?
Zuzu, even with the green, was the overall effect natural?
Dinu, I can't imagine how sore that woman's hands must have been after her 24-hour styling marathon.
It looked exactly like my real hair, GW. That's what was so horrifying.
LOL But things got better, otherwise you'd probably not mention it. :)
Hands? They would be used to the actions and the 'abrasive load'! So it would be a question of fatigue. For that, before announcing, she would have trained a bit to maintain a steady rate, I reckon.
