Home after the big meal...

(Zone 7a)

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends here at DG!!!

After the big meal and the talking and the family and friends, the pie and all the trimmings. I feel today was one of the better Holidays. DH and I, two brothers, 2 nieces, two SILs, (both divorced from the brothers but still more than welcome) and one grandnephew. Mom felt well enough to come and she stayed about two hours. One of the brothers took her home. We stayed from 12pm until 6pmish. Ate, talked, ate some more, talked, laughed and laughed some more. Told old stories and relived memories past. Then we laughed some more.

A brother in Oregon called and everybody had a chance to talk to him on the phone. He told us that our dad is in the hospital again. He has bad circulation and gets lesions on his legs and feet bad enough they thought of removing his feet. They found they don't have to do that but it's still pretty bad. He's being sent home tomorrow, though. Second time for the same thing.

The grandnephew is in a class for exceptional and gifted children. Talking at one, walking at ten months, can work the computer as well as dad who works on them for a living. Grandnephew is three.

All in all, a wonderful day. Tell me about yours.

Love and well wishes to all, Kwanjin
