what a neat effect!
Fall Color 4
That is great!
Great shots, kudrick - welcome! Allison - cool pic!
thanks victor, yours are great too, especially the dawn redwood. it kinda looks like a palm or cycad.
Thanks - I should be adding more later today. The Dawn Redwood is dropping its needles now.
how pretty!
nice shots kudrick & watercan
JM 'Tamukeyama'.
I like your neighbors tree onewish1, it's 'picture perfect'! kudrick's Lace Leaf is really nice, I wonder how tall it grows...hard to imagine you guys in 'Jersey got snow already, we haven't seen any on the 'Island' yet!
- and of course Victor... you're a JM factory!! ☺
- Nice color, gives me an idea of what the golden one looks like, or IS that the golden one?
Yes - it's the golden one - another 'Ogon'.
Victor, I'm impressed! I didn't know there was so much open space at Sing Sing for this much gardening - is it in the courtyard? Does the pond have a secret exit going under the barbed wire fence?
Thanks, Sue. Because I've behaved well the past few years, following the incident with the Warden's daughter, they have allowed me some space to garden and encourage my fellow inmates to join in. They have really taken to it too. A bit hard to do maintenance with the 'modified' tools they give us. When visitors come to the gardens and ask how long a particular plant will live, we often instinctively reply, '15 years to life'. Oddly, all the plants are given female names.
touche!
beautiful victor..... and the last one looks like a great spot for coffee
Nice pictures.
Welcome kudrick!
dave, thanks, good to be here.
victor, your pond is awesome!
Coincidentally, speaking of barbed wire . . . today, 11/24, in 1874 Joseph Glidden patented barbed wire!
Gee, I wonder how he went from barbed wire to selling paint... ☺
- How many redwoods in that shot VG? ... nice
Just the one.
