Hello Hope,
Is your local library part of the inter-library loan program here
in Oklahoma? You might ask, they will likely be able to order it
for you at no charge whatsoever, and will contact you when it arrives
in your local library.
:-) KM
This is the best site for books, just scroll down and read the condition and price you want. Just make sure it is a USA site as my sort includes UK books. Many will be unread new copies that are overstock or remainders or ex lib books or from people just down sizing. I use the dealers listed from Alibris and abebooks the most, but I have never had a problem with any books ordered over many years that this site has existed. I am a retired book dealer (new) but used this site to hunt for used copies for hundreds of my customers and I still use it for all my personal books. Patti

Oh, thanks Patti!! I forgot about those places! I'll be sure to bookmark all of them for my next book bargain search!!
Newhobby, You only have to go to this one site which searches all the major book sites and then you can order from them. You can sort it by price too. You can also customize your want list (hardback only, first ed, signed etc) They also have a site for new books and a couple of other sort places. Enjoy. Patti

Hope43, Poor you, I assume you have been without power for many days. I talked to my DB there and he finally got his on at 5 o'clock on Sunday night. He lives over near St Johns (birthplace). He had water and could have gone to stay with our mom out at Inverness Village which only was out the first day, but said he had so much chainsawing to do that he just worked outside everyday and would just crawl into a down sleeping bag and go to sleep bone tired.
What a mess for you all. My mom is 92 and I think she is looking forward to escaping to our better weather this year. She is flying out on Friday for Christmas while my DB is heading to the Bahamas. He actually goes there every year to spend the holidays with a bunch of his Canadian friends, who have never been without power for so long. Nor have we here in Nantucket or at our Vermont house. Who would have thought it could get so bad in my old hometown. Stay warm, enjoy the lights. There are tons of those books available starting at under 7.00 so you don't need to hurry. Patti
Twila,
Did you find this book locally? I can send it to you. LMK
