Just think.. if someone bids 200.00 plus the shipping is 8.95 = 208.95 divided by 38 = 5.50 per plant. When you think about it, even at that price, it's quite reasonable.

That's what I was thinking, that it is still a reasonable amt. or money once you do the math! Even say 7.00 for a double isn't bad. I think she is setting a trend here -offering mixed cuttings especially doubles looks like it could be good business!

Hi Teresa....I'm great! On cloud nine at the moment for Caren!! I'm still laughing after checking out her bid today! Lol, had planned on bidding again on her box of brugs......but I've just ordered several orders of plants this week, so past my limit on spending too much more.

Caren, I can totally relate to selling on ebay! I started my charm biz that way and when I finally got my website built and could quit ebay I was never so happy to quit a job in my life! I'm sorry but there are a LOT of ebayer's that just shouldn't have a mouse to click with when they don't have a brain running it. LOL I've often thought of selling plants, but in reality, it would be such a drag.. cause there are those out there who think they don't have to do anything to the plant and they will get the bloom in the pic. When it doesn't happen, it's the seller's fault.. hence negative feedback... then your reputation is trashed... or they leave a negative like.. Well, it wasn't really what I needed.. So I'm behind you 100% and don't let it get you down. Your a good honest seller, and you have a lot of backup! I hope it hits $300. or better...
Not just $7. a brug.. some in your collection are very expensive if they even have a price! So hey.. it's worth it... It's not like a career, but it's a good lil load of potting soil and fertilizer!
And size doesn't matter either! LOL Or it would cost a fortune to ship.. so a good healthy 6" cutting will produce just fine...

Hey I could totally get into aroids, A week or so ago I saw some on ebay going for over 350.00 for one plant!! I hear certain overseas buyers are completely running up the prices and are obsessed with certain aroids.

Angel Tree, a sweet plant trading buddie of mine sent me an aroid cutting from his collection. He also sent me a picture of the same plant on ebay going for $180.00!!! Yes, it is a market for Aroids too!
If you go look at each brug and add up what it would cost to buy them individually, (IF you could get some of them) it's a steal of a deal at $185. Not to mention she is gonna throw in freebiez! Whoa.. good deal.
And when Caren says, "Throw in Freebies" that is a deal in itself!!! No telling how many brugs the winner of this bid will end up with.
We're not putting words in her mouth are we LOL. She's not obligated to give anything extra other than the freebies she listed in her auction. Don't want her ebayers thinking their getting more than what's posted in her auction .

You are gonna be sick when I say this , but I just got a huge monster sized one at Lowe's here today in a 5 gal. container. The vine is at least 20 ft long. There are actually 2 plants in the container. It was only 19.99!
Then I went to H.D. and they had them there too a dollar cheaper-same size -2 bad I had already bought the other one LOL! I have another alata I started from seed 2 springs ago and it has grown slow and hasn't flowered yet.......
You should check your HD and Lowes if its not already freezing in your area. If their nursery section is already closed down , check in spring, HD had 4 other kinds of passies as well, in 1 gal containers.
There's nothing left at our lowes, they have already gone through all their plants with a 75% off sale, and we never have anything special like ANY kind of passiflora , it's unreal the junk our home depot and lowes sells, and we only have one nursery in Searcy of 22,000 people. Is that not sick or what LOL.
I keep telling myself I need to move somewhere else.
But to answer your question, I did win an alata passiflora not ruby glow though, off ebay from a fantastic seller, it was over 36 inches long, and supreme, I was well pleased with it.
I hope it doesn't die on me in the greenhouse this winter.

all the bidder names have been changed to names like
c***p etc...
what causes that? why is it doing that? can't tell who the bidders are now LOL
