Is there any other type of software or downloadable program (preferably free) other than Photoshop?

Hi Konkrete,

I believe a watermark does need to be in your software program,
but DG offers a copyright mark for photos displayed on this site.

Wish I knew of a free online site for you.

Yes, I love that Dave's does it for me! I'd just like to have it for pics out put out on the web in other places. On another thread Dinu suggested FS Resizer. I couldn't find a good link but think I did today so I'll try it later.

I use Irfanview, which is free. It has a batch resize/edit function and in it you can add a text overlay. http://www.irfanview.com
