Your Favorite 2008 Calendar with a Plant/Garden Theme?

It's time to consider what calendar to have for next year. I've been so disappointed by what's out there. I like my calendars (whether wall or appointment) to have lots of interesting dates noted in them. I like to learn something from them yet for them to have enough room to write my own stuff on. And nice graphics are also de rigeur.

So far the only gardening calendar I've seen that has even a slight interest for me is the Gardening by the Moon 2008 calendar. What are your faves? What have you seen so far that you've liked?

I like the ones with daily quotes or one line jokes. As for the pictures, I was never a flower person until this past January when DH told me to get a hobby and I started gardening! Now, I would love to have one with simpleton gardens, not those by resorts or anything, just pics of gardens by people from DG or something.

My favorite quote by the way is ' One day at a time' and I think needs to be repeated several times a month on any calendar I buy!!!

I'll admit that although calendars with nature strike my fancy,
there's a special place in my heart (or my wallet) for the freebies.

I'm with WUVIE, I yearly get a daily planner with a nice photo for each week , like Audibon, and a note about where it was taken.. I like the mix of close ups and scenery

But I'm off topic Sorry!! One year I got one with lots of localized tips each month. came from the usual calendar store that springs up in the mall every fall. Think it went by areas, somewhat like our regional forums.

I always buy a flower calendar from Michaels; this year is English Gardens. But my favorite is the Dollar Tree's leatherette covered one. It has good places for names and addresses and telephone numbers in another place. I have bought the same kind since 2000. But they changed the sizes during the last two years so I don't have the uniformity that I would like to have. I jot down significant things then I can look back and check the dates of when things happened, all the way back to 2000.

I was at Books A Million and there were not any garden theme to do/hints calendars that I could find. A number of bird calendars.
I went with a planner type with lots of scenery pics. Also a cup of not so great coffee to use up 1.43 on a gift card
