Hi Gene, welcome to Daves! I hope you'll continue to hang out here on the hibiscus forum--we love to drool over pictures of everyone's pretties!

Thank you it well take me a while to learn how to get around here but I'll keep trying. Thanks for the welcome

Yes Ecrane it is Sunshowers. No two bloom ever seem to be the same. sometimes they are more red, then orange, then more yellow. It keeps me guessing, but I love it. Lorine

Hi Geneatkatytx,
My name is Cathy, otherwise known as cat4gp. Don't worry about posting the same pic as me, we all do it, almost everyday. It's fun to see how the flowers respond to the different climates. Looking forward to more pics.

I want to say a special thank you to every one who sent words of kindness on Peri. I loved him very much and will miss him greatly (already do), but he truly, truly, truly is in a better place. Here is a pic of my gorgeous Peri.

Cathy, all of us who love cats and dogs can sympathize with your loss. Peri was a beauty and I know you are saddened by the loss.
This week we lost a member of our family, too. Honey was a wonderful Sheltie who shared our world for ten years, but the spirit left her worn-out body during surgery this week. Like you, we know she's gone to a better place.

peace to all,

Barry

Gosh Cat and Barry, I'm so sorry. We were crushed when we lost our little shitzu three years ago and are now the proud parents of two wildly active kittens. Pets are hard to replace, but it's hard to not have any. I feel badly for you both. I hope you will find another pet to help brighten your days and nights.
