Ecrane is having a birthday???? We need to start another thread and I'll do so right now!
Blooms for 11/4 through 11/10/07
I posted a b-day wish for ecrane on another thread, hope she gets it! Misty
Thanks everyone! Misty--I saw yours on the other thread too--thanks again!
You bet, ecrane!
Happy Birthday, ecrane....I hope you had a blast.
Gosh, who could forget Remember Me. She is a cutie. I like the Lemon Brocade too. Not too flashy, just right.
Thanks Rene! Is that Sun Showers? It sort of looks like mine, but I know things never look the same on the east and west coast so I wasn't sure!
PS...American Maid WILL be for sale. It was Mystic Glow that needs to win, before she can be sold. Therefore, I paid for American Maid, lol. Thanks, Barry and Matt, for straightening me out on that :)
Here is the email from Matt....

Hi Cat,
Hope all is well and your plants are putting on a good show. Just got a
note from Barry and he mentioned I should correct something you wrote on
Daves.
American Maid is one that will be for sale and has already won Best of
Show Seedling. Once it won that honor it became a contender for Hibiscus
of the Year and was also released for future sales. We will offer it for
sale on our web-site by 1/1/2008.
The one you are thinking of is Mystic Glow by Bob Carran. I gave you
that one because he is still wanting to win Best of Show Seedling with
that one and if I had sold it he could no longer enter it as a seedling.
Bottom line is once you win Best of Show Seedling you can sell it and
still be eligible for Hibiscus of the Year---but not before.
The ones I sold you from Barry, Congo, Yoda, American Maid and Prom
Queen will all be offered for sale by 1/1/2008.
BTW we got down to 44 this morning--so I guess I better get my
greenhouses sealed up for the winter.
Take care,
Matt

Hello everyone my name is Gene and I live in Katy Texas just thought I would make this post to Break the ice as I'm still learning how to navigate Daves site. I have been into Tropical hibiscus for about 5 years now and am fully entrenched in the love of them. I would like to post a few pictures not taken today but in the last week of so. I found this site thanks to Barry. Ring of Fire
Hi Gene,
Very nice to meet you! You are not far from me at all. Nice Ring of fire!
Robert
Welcome to the friendliest of forums Gene. You do have a beautiful Ring of Fire. I am so envious of you folks in the Houston area with all the Hibiscus resources there.
