I often get the wrong picture with my post. When I preview I can see I have the wrong thing but don't want to delete a post and do it over again. Is there someway to either delete the picture or change it in the "preview phase"?
Christi
Edit photo in preview
No, I'm pretty sure you can't do that. Best thing to do is go back and start your post over again.
I usually copy the text, take that pic off,put the new one in and paste the text back in.
That sounds easy enough. Thanks. Of course, the best would be to get the right picture in the first place. Duh.
Can't you just hit your Back button (from Preview page)? That way it'll still show the text you've written and also let you put your replacement pic in the Browse box. (Put your cursor in the browse box, delete what is already there, then click Browse and input the picture you wanted to put in.)

Horseshoe, does the text stay in place for you when you go back from the Preview page?
When I am at the Preview page and hit the back button it erases my typed-in message. Only the photo loaded in the Browse box is there. So, like bigcityal, when I have to fix my photo, I copy the text, then hit the back button, paste the text back in, and then fix the photo to the correct one.

Yes, my text stays in place. (And I just double-checked to be sure of it.)
I'm using Firefox. I wonder if you are using another browser that doesn't allow that to happen.
It's always a safe bet to copy your text though...it'll sure save a lot of rewriting, won't it.
Shoe
Well, it never fails that when the picture is incorrect that is the time I have posted a long and windy message and don't want to do it again. And probably shouldn't. I will try the copy thing.
Thanks again.

I'm on Att Yahoo's own browser.

Shoe,
It must be the way different browsers work. I use IE, and it removes the text message every time when I back up or do anything to leave the preview page. So, for the rest of us folks not using Firefox, copying before going back is definitely the way to go, so to prevent having to retype. LOL.

AHAH! Yep, that's it, Karen.
I just tried it using IE and sure enuff, it zapped it, poof, text gone.
Thanks, now we know! (Fortunately for me I seldom use IE.)
Have a great day everyone! (And happy "time change" to us all.)

I really appreciate all the information. ATT Yahoo works just like IE. As I said before, I I should just be more careful in the first place and then I won't have to correct. Always in a hurry.

Christi,
Don't worry about it -- we all do that sometimes. The thing to know is how to fix it without a big hassle. LOL.
Have a good evening,
Karen
You, too.
I have a Q how do I find out what kind of browser I have, Don't know how to find it.
I have a DSL connection from Embarg. And a computer dummy or a internet dummy both works. I learn things the hard way.

The easiest way is when you're in your browser software, look in the menu bar across the top, there should be the word "help". Click on that, and you should see something that says "About xxxxx" and xxxx is the name of your browser. If you're using a Mac then things might be different, but pretty much every piece of software for PC's has that in it. You can also look at the address bar in your browser (where it says:http://davesgarden.com), if you have IE there'll be a little icon there that looks like a piece of paper with a lower case e in it, Firefox has I think a little fox looking thing) Chances are you have Internet Explorer, it comes on pretty much every PC that you buy, any other browsers you would have had to download yourself.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Did it again. Got the wrong picture. Simply copied and started over. So simple and has taken my stress level down a notch.
