Hi everybody! I can't remember who it is that's a Nascar/race fan but I know it was someone on the AV forum. I saw this article in our paper today and thought I'd post about it. I've lived in Daytona for 34 years and have never been to the Daytona International Speedway - I'm not a big race fan but I know I remember someone telling me they are huge Nascar fans! Anyhow, there is some kind of drawing where you can win free tickets to one of the races in February (possibly the Daytona 500) plus a chance to win a 2008 Chevy Impala. I'm off to ebay so I can list the paintball gun that my grandson bought without his moms permission!! He's hoping to recoup a bit of his money. The funniest part is he was with his dad when he bought the gun!!! LOL

Oh yeah .... the race only lasts a couple of hours, right? There'd be plenty of time to Plant Shop too!

Gail: Are you still up? Did you watch CNN tonight - the show Planet in Peril? I missed it earlier but it's getting ready to come on again from 12:00-2:00 a.m. Doubt if I can stay awake that long but I'm gonna try. I'm in the living room and we have a new HDTV in here and I haven't figured out how to set the DVR to record yet. I was going to go in the bedroom and set the recorder on that t.v. but don't want to wake hubby. I think I will make myself a note right now to record it tomorrow ... it's on just these two nights and I do want to see it.
Looks like I'm falling down on the job here, we need a new thread!! I'll go work on that......
Gail when my son in law got home from that shopping trip my daughter told he and my grandson they were never shopping together ALONE again!! LOL Your right, it's a "boy" thing!!
